Great job ma'am. I love the idea of using paper to draft out the pattern. I can use it again if I want to make the size of the bag another time. Please what type of paper did you use? Is it hard or soft paper?
Amount of fabric depends on body size, if the fabric length is by 60inches 3yards will be enough, if is by 45 you might be needing 4yards of fabric. I hope this is helpful to you
Thanks for that Ethel I was wondering how to get dress to full length if I had to cut on the bias but when you got to the waist line you moved it back to along the grain line....I couldn't work out how to do it without having to add a seam at the waist line...you're genius and I've learned something new!!!
Yes it does, however , to be on a safe side seat on a leveled hard chair and take your measure from your waist to the high rise of your hip. That is if is for your crotch measurement. I hope is helpful.
