Going to Italy and Switzerland from America for about 17 days. I haven’t even left yet and I’ve already spent about 12k. Flight was just under 5800 and the rest is hotels and activities booked. Thinking I’ll spend another 3-5k more while there. Can’t speak for everyone else but that’s what it’s costing us. (2 people)
By giving money to the children begging for money out on the streets, you are directly supporting this widespread and well organized crime web that is well versed in exploiting children. As a rule of thumb, you should never give money to the beggars on the streets of Belgrade.

You keep saying places are closed on Monday and “open every other day”. Do you mean they are open every day other than Monday, or do you mean they are open on alternating days Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday or Wednesday, Friday and Sunday?

Poerugal did not "own" other countries. It inviade/colonized areas outside of Portugal and killed/ens;aved people outside of its own defined boundaries. Does not equate to "owning" other countries.
Jordan has very good roads. They also have the bvest falafel...very fluffy. I nearky drowned in the Dead Sea. Very embarrassing! I was too far out and then rubbed my eyes ( a definite no no!) and then I gasped because my eyes were really stinging from the saklty water and swallowed water and then couldn't breathe! I was lucky as people saw me in distress and pulled me out. I must have 5 bottles of water dunked onto my face and down my throat. Ahh, the memories
