The Nate Take is a hobby channel, which focuses on the things and ideas that pour from the mind of me, Nathan. My videos are about all sorts of things, mostly automotive and home shop related topics. You can see product reviews, how to care for your vehicle, welding tips and tricks, etc. I hope you enjoy what you find. If so, please consider SMASHING that Subscribe button!
Yeah yo bad you never showed welds so to me that means it welds like crap or you weld like crap or your embarrassed to show well I’m not about not sub’ing The rest of your review was very well done not sure about the rambling of the gun portability though
You can find the tool kit here: amzn.to/3TatAEn You can get the tail light housing (for 2004 - 2008 F150) here: amzn.to/4dUQHvf Thank you for watching! Don't forget to Like, Comment, Subscribe, and Share!!
Hell yeah! I'm working on finding something that I can wear that won't make me melt. Summer in Florida with heavy PPE on is a death sentence in of itself practically.
Also, there is little research done on it and basically no correlation could be found from the little research done. Im more concerned about the modern American diet than a little extra uv. Lucky for me I am very limited on the amount of processed foods I eat.
Good review....! Glad to see you getting some recognition from companies. Getting some sponsors will be great for your channel. 😎Good sense of humor with your "welder" jokes ....I like the one about "break up" - no spark ..😂
I watched the whole video, and hopefully I didn't miss it, but my concern for any of these types of hoods, is - if the battery failed, is there any protection in place to protect the eyes from exposure, because after all, the lens is made to darken automatically at the arcing, so what if the battery or lens failed, would that mean that the darkening would go away and leave the user exposed to blinding light?. Maybe these work differently than I am thinking, but just thought I would throw that out there to see if there is any protection in place from failure of it's main feature.
That is one downside of electric auto darkening lenses, without power, they don't work the same. My previous helmets I had before was auto darkening with a little button cell, and I never changed the cell and it still works fine years later. They have a tiny solar panel on their front, which from what I understand, absorbs power (as if it were in the sun) and either charges the battery or supplies that power to the function of the helmet while welding. So the batteries usually take very little load. I'll contact YesWelder directly and see if they can give me an exact answer for you.
@@TheNateTake Thanks so much for the prompt reply. I have been looking at a helmet by another company that has a lens holder inside for a cheater lens for bad eyesight, but it also has the auto darkening feature, and that is one of my biggest concerns about these types of helmets, so it would be great to hear what you find out from the company. The helmet you reviewed here has a great feature, and that it the clear shield for grinding, I love that so maybe you could also mention to them about adding a lens holder inside for a cheater lens for magnification. I also saw a negative comment on Amazon about this helmet because it didn't have the ability to hold a cheater lens, so that would be a great addition for them to add that ability. 👍
Thnx, I guess I didnt lower the cable enough to get cable and the chingadera attached to the cable out of the hole. I try it again when it's cooler outside. Thnx again 4 da video
Glad it helped! The first time I did it, I did the same, though it was done once the tire was on the ground. Ended up having to go a lot further than I expected.
It's a Riton 3 Tactix MPRD. Love it. I've had it for years, and it's still on its first battery. Durable. Clear glass, easy to clean. Holds zero well. Can't recommend it enough. amzn.to/4dA9Nq5
For this particular piece, it wouldn't help, because it already has a bumpy texture. So you'd have to sand so much off to get rid of the texture, then more to add texture back. I opted for the adhesion spray then paint. It's still holding up great to this day.
That looks like it might be worth trying. At that price, it won't mean much if it doesn't last forever. Btw, your stick welds are something else 🤮 Keep practicing 🤣
RU-vid suppresses them. And with recent updates, the entire channel can be up for removal on the whim of RU-vid workers because of simple stuff like that. RU-vid is a very liberal platform and is doing their best to eliminate the category entirely.
I'll be honest, the weld quality in my experience usually is more reflective of the person, not the machine. To an extent. Sometimes it can be the machine.
I grew up shooting a lot of older firearms steel frame, revolvers, surplus rifles etc… all of which had metal triggers so when I got my dagger I immediately wanted to change the trigger 😂😂
