Fingers straight into the lens, shaky, out of focus and blurred vids - all the goodies in spades.
I do hifi / associated stuff reviews and modding guides (trying to hide and smuggle some technical knowledge for you inside).
No intros, no outros, no fancy animations and miniatures with me making faces to equipement. Just the important stuff: build quality, engineering perspective, sound quality.
Over the years I've usually shared back to community on head-fi and other audio forums, but it's 2024 and I think YT is the best way to reach and help you out.
If you think you have something interesting, that I could review in my channel, feel free to reach me via my mail.
@@thomprd I must say as good as it is as a standalone cable i still recommend a full cable loom. Synergy is factor. It is smart to try with one cable first though just to see if it is your cup of tea.
Your command of English is just fine. "Thingies" is good enough because I can't think of what they might be called myself -- maybe "cable clips"? But I'm just guessing. 🙂
@@rontoolsie A native US English speaker, maybe, because this slang term originated in the USA. Over here in England, we're more likely to use "thingy" or "thingumabob".
😅😅😅es gibt Sachen die man nicht auf aliexpress kauft. Die Katze im Sack sagt man in Deutschland..Sommer cable elefant 4x2.5mm2 is for 6€/m. An exzellent cable.
Well I've done a poll some time ago and like 90prc of viewers were on favor of first look before the full review, as the latter can take sooomeeee time to prepare (I do all of that as a hobby in my free time :) )
I am not a fan of silver plated cables. 20 years ago for the price of these fakes I owned second hand audioquest (audiotruth) diamonds interconnects made from pure silver.
@@k4syx I wonder whether there are any fake Purist Audio Design cables, probably not. They use some kind of ferrofluid dampening. I love the brand and these are my favourite cables of all time. The idea of "oil dampening" in the cables design is worth trying. It's similar effect to oil capacitors but more subtle.
I know a few guys making cables locally and they all keep their cards close to the chest. It's not magic, the "ingredients" are cheap, the secret lies in recipe. They had experimented with different materials, so they know now which wire and geometry to use for desired knowledge. I'm learning some of it myself via listening to those cables and looking what's inside. There are some patterns!
I bought fake Furutech banana and spade connectors, and they're a little better than I was expecting. As affordable connectors, they're fine. I'm sure they're nowhere close to the legit versions they're imitating.
Great video and Great channel appreciate what you’re doing! I’m looking to get this because I have always wanted to try a pure class A amp. Would you think this amp would be a good pairing with my JBL LC310-1 speakers that have a nominal impedance of 8ohm/sensitivity is 92dB? Would be connected to the Yamaha R-N800A Stereo integrated amp using it as a preamp only.
@@ryanwallman7114 it will be excellent combo. If you can, try to bypass the Yamaha too and check the sound straight from your source, as Y may become a bottleneck here :)
😣Why Dragon Zero got Copper inside !! though is 100% pure Silver? & why become 1/2 the cable only! & where is the base cable need to buy again!! 😥 very very Disappointed with AudioQuest Dragon=100% reject cancel order better then🙄
@@roxy_xcxc6869 Well this is fake, there's no solid silver inside. As for the bass that's perfectly normal, you can get a few types of that cable and this one is just fill range regular one
@@gianromanigroup it's ready actually (minus listening test, first look like this one) and scheduled to go live after the weekend. O need to find time to do the listening soon :)
@@psicoloramarockprogresivop6209 Singxer is serious stuff for serious DAC. Meaning it's better, but you'll hear the difference with higher quality DAC converters only
Yes this was my first buy on aliexpress over a year ago. Incredible value: performance is as good or better than my nearly 30 year old flatline gold cable.
I've always been interested in getting Nordost or even Analysis Plus Oval cables. But cost in experimenting isn't in my budget. I look forward to your review of the "Blue Heaven" cables!
I'm just waiting for my second set of fake nordost cables to be delivered, I've been so impressed with cables sourced from AliExpress that I'm even trying a couple of power conditioning cables.
I assume they don’t use the construction methods of the original Micro Mono-Filament technology refers to Nordost’s patented process of separating the conductor from its FEP insulation. During production, each conductor is intricately and uniformly wrapped in a single strand (Micro) before being encased in an extruded layer of high quality FEP. The process for DMF is very similar, except that instead of a single strand, the conductor is wrapped in a twisted pair (Dual) of FEP Mono-Filament before the extrusion layer. This highly precise process allows every conductor to be surrounded by its own air dielectric. This revolutionary insulation process is directly responsible for the dramatic increase of signal speeds and excellent mechanical damping found in Nordost cables.
Reading that I'd rather say that they dont have marketing department and dont do poetry over insulation. Which may explain price difference (partially at least) ;) (intricately and uniformly wrapped, This highly precise process - gotta remember about this one for wrapping my christmas presents!)
I'm on the fence for Berlasse. These are Tokban made (AFAIR) and look good, but the numbers in the description (like snr) could be better. I do like the looks, functionality and mostly the fact they are representing their own brand though.
