You forgot to mention that Ben has an Alien that can also manipulate and control dreams called Pesky Dust who would be a perfect choice to fight Freddy. Not to mention that Ben's humor/sarcasm and arrogance would be a headache for Freddy.... Both Ben and Freddy use humor in their encounters, the difference is that Freddy to intimidate and torment his victims psychologically while Ben does it to hurt the ego of his rivals and make them desperate in order to win... The truth is that if the two met in a first meeting I see Ben being afraid of Freddy for being much more evil, sadistic, brutal and bloodthirsty than most of his enemies... however Ben remembering that he has faced much more powerful enemies (like Diagon, Maltruant, Malware), discovering that Freddy likes to talk a lot like him and remembering that he also has an alien that can control dreams... in a second encounter Ben would verbally humiliate Freddy like Terry Macginis humiliated the Joker in Batman Beyond.
