Adding a cam and tuen to a 5.3 makes it close to the 6.3 hp rating. Also, that was a 4 door truck, which is pretty heavy. All in all i expected the 5.3 to won this race. Ppl dog the 5.3 but ive built a few that hurt feelings. Alot of times its combination not displacement.

Yessir , had to retighten some nuts on the kit but not sure if wasn’t all the way tight to began with or got loose with time. But can’t complain kit is solid
