Love this! How long does it take to get to the top by various lifts? And back down is 20min? I presume by length of the video… Would love to know how much time you need to do this…
It will take about an hour to reach the top. There are 5 ski lifts to get to the peak from Solden, Gaislachkogl Tal or Giggijoch Tal. The descent from the top to the bottom without breaks took us 20 minutes. Good luck!
The general rule is to avoid black routes. The blue slopes are for beginners and the red slopes are for intermediate skiers. Additionally, difficult ski slopes are unprepared or narrow ski runs.
The Snow Space Salzburg ski resort states on its website www.snow-space.com that it has 210 kilometers of ski slopes. It's about prepared ski slopes. Apart from these routes there are freeride routes which are not groomed routes. In our rankings we only provide prepared ski runs.
It's a pity, but the solution of quickly leaving for the intermediate station at an altitude of about 1,500 m above sea level with little snow makes sense.
First, from Cortina, take the Cortina-Mandres-Faloria cable car and the Vitelli ski lift to reach the lower station of the Rio Gere-Son Forca ski lift.
The ski run in the upper and lower parts is flat. In the central part it is steeper but wide. Skiers are transported to the mountain by a comfortable chairlift with safety devices for children. This is a suitable ski run for children.
Guys and Gals - this is excellent - keep adding more piste videos - its a great thing and I downloaded your app, because who wouldn't want to support people doing something this awesome
Pozdrawiam serdecznie i łapka w górę 🙂
Słuszna uwaga odnośnie przygotowania tras w COS. Jadąc po trasie przygotowanej i nieprzygotowanej, można odnieść wrażenie jakby to był zjazd po różnych trasach. W ostatnim okresie widać zacieśnienie współpracy pomiędzy MR Szczyrk i COS, stąd coraz lepsze przygotowanie tras. Dziękujemy za łapkę. 😀
We don't use smartphones to shoot videos, only a Go Pro camera with additional gimbal stabilization. We tried to record videos without stabilization and the effect was bad. You can use your smartphone to shoot videos of people skiing while standing still.
Hi, those 15% and blue color are a bit misleading. The slope is quite steep with around 30% over longer distances in the top part. THX for the video :-)
The slope gradient of the ski run is the average value for the entire length of the route of 3,300 meters. In individual sections of the route, the gradient may be larger/smaller, respectively.
@@skicrown yes. I did mainly want to critizise the blue color that Saalbach gives these routes. For us as beginners this run 56 posed a significant difficulty with a lot of sweat and swearing 🙂. Hence it was nice to see how to do it a lot better than we did :-D. Now, after one week of practice i think we would do a bit better - but IMHO this should still be a red run on the maps. Similarly run 50a: also 30% steep at the bottom 200m height difference. And marked as pure blue on the maps....
You are right, the ski run should be marked red/blue, then you could be prepared for possible difficulties. We are glad that your skiing level has improved and the red slopes will no longer be a challenge.⛷😀
