Jeeps, trucks, cars & engines. Simple and detailed how to videos, complex and vague how to videos, and whatever else is making noise down yonder in the shop.
NEVER just go from 45 ft-lbs to 110/100 without at least one step in between. THAT is how you break cylinder head bolts, or any high torque bolt of the matter. Go to 85 or so in between, and you can prevent that from happening. The FSM seems to state 45 to 100/110 which is pretty sketchy. Go slow and torque the head EVENLY, and you got yourself a successful job.
nice looking and sounding great. beating on that ole girl for sure. love my 03 Z06, built and procharged at 685 hp, she loves taking down Hellcats on freeway rolls.
Damn lol. Well I just got here and came for the vette but definitely staying for the other awesome videos. This is exactly the kind of car content I'm looking for
Toss the petroleum jelly or use it for "none of your business" business and use silicone grease on them fuel injectors instead. Anything petroleum degrades rubber. So, young-un, don't use it on any "injector" that needs a "rubber" seal. Ya' hear!😉👍
Question I have a 1983 c10 dual tank and the driver side wasn’t working so I replaced the fuel selector switch and the fuel sending unit but it’s still not working. It kinda reads it right but whenever I switch it over it turns off. Idk what it could be. Im going to replace the fuel sending unit again and the pig tail connector and see if it that works but do you any other ideas what it could be
Since so many are unsubscribing I did the opposite and subscribed. I totally understand parting with a car when you don’t drive it enough to justify insuring it. You had your fun with it and are moving on. Sad to see it go but that’s car life.
it seems deceptive to present this car as a stocker, I trust you wouldn't do that. 99 has unique computer and steering wheel sensor replacement non availability , I wouldn't buy one.
My 2001 6 speed has 166k and its in great condition. Look up the LS1 and you’ll see just how solid this drivetrain is. Ive seen a bunch with over 300k miles.
it's a chevy, a high Line chevy built for lightness, but still a chevy , don't expect miracles. sold in large part on bang for the buck to people without long term ownership goals. I own a C5 , regular yank tank, well over 100,000 miles , interior fine , slight cushion wear in driver's seat, which I will replace.
My rule is "I don't pay for someone else's mods." Taking it back to stock will enable you to sell easier and likely get a better offer. Additionally, you can part out the mods and recoup some of your money.
Hey Jimmy .. just a question so when changing the pro valve mine is 91 xj abs so there is 4 brake lines so just wondering how do I sought that thing out ?do I need to put a tee to make it 3 lines ? In pro valve there is only three ports to insert the fuel lines rest two goes to master cyclinder.
@@JeepinJimmy thank you so much for your reply So 2 port goes to the master cyclinder 2 goes to the front brake And then m left with just one port and two rear brake lines.. so do I need to do any amendments for the rear ? Thank you
Great video...helpful to see what you did when a couple of them got tough. Always fun to see someone having a good time in the shop. Thanks for the content.
