I have a Falcon FQ50 and I upgraded the FW today. I went to test it in the field and I am very disappointed with this new upgrade. Too much noise in the image, the image pro function cannot be turned off. I downgraded the FW back to version V5.5.85 240425 Before buying, I had this device for testing, and if this (new) FW was there, I would not have bought the Falcon. It would be a shame because Falcon is a good device and I am very satisfied with it.
Hi, thank you for your feedback on this upgrade. The new version enhances the details to give users more options. If you prefer the original style, please lower the sharpness. Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions.
@@HIKMICROOutdoor Thanks for the response. I am staying with the previous version of FW, whose picture suits me better. I appreciate your efforts to improve the product, but algorithmic image quality improvement has its limits. I prefer hardware improvement. So, the only thing that would make sense (in this time for this product) is a sensor with a higher resolution.
On the habrok 4k ,to turn on the ir in night mode do i have to go through the main menu to activate or can it be done quickly by a fast hold of the buttons. My intention at night would be to firstly pick up the dection of an animals heat source with the thermal and then quickly switch to night mode with built-in ir.If i had to go through the menu at that stage to turn on the ir it would take too long and an opportunity could be lost
Hi, Richard. The IR will be turned on automatically when you switch to the night mode. You can set up the Smart IR function in advance, in this way, the IR power will also change with the environment. You do not have to adjust manually.
First of all: I use Thermal Devices myself and love them, but would never let my whole hunting setup be dependent on batteries. Secondly: The images used to represend the optical performance of "classic" optics, especially the shown optics from swarosky are purposlymade worse / filmed with a bad camera. Thirdly: A digital scope will always be limited by frame rate / display quality / sensor quality giving you a delay or a pixelated image at high magnification. In my opinion digital equipment for spotting can and should be used anytime, but when it comes to riflescopes I prefer a good Zeiss or Leica, Steiner or Schmidt and Bender, which can and should be improved by a thermal / night vision clipon if the conditions make it necessary.
Thank you for sharing your sincere feedback and allowing us to hear different user voices. We will relay your concerns to our product team and work on enhancing the digital product experience. The visual experience of digital products differs from optical products and should be chosen based on hunting habits and scenarios while complying with hunting regulations. Digital products are designed for all-day hunting, ensuring detailed recognition, such as antlers, for ethical hunting during the day, and enhancing efficiency in low-light or night conditions. Additionally, digital products offer recording features for easy sharing, a capability optical products lack. During the product development, HIKMICRO has done research on optical products for higher light transmission and image quality comparison. Ultimately, user experience remains paramount for us.
I used mine for the first time last weekend, and I was impressed, very clear image. A couple of small things I would change: 1, it would be nice if range reading stayed on longer, 2nd you didn't have to go through the full range of modes to go back to day time vision. I must add that I like the stand-by mode when not looking through the binoculars.
Nice and effective tool! Could you show us a night video by HE25LN (night vision with IR940 and thermal and fusion too) for example about a fox between 250+/- meters? Thank you for advance!
Congratulations to Attila Molnár for winning HIKMICRO HABROK 4K! Thanks for supporting HIKMICRO as always. We hope this device will bring more fun for your hunting adventures!
Hi, the HABROK 4K Multi-spectrum Binocular comes with four 18650 replaceable and rechargeable batteries, providing 8-hour continuous operation on a single charge.
I think that the Hikmicro Habrok 4K would help me spot animals faster even during the day. I think one of many good features is the LRF beacuse then you can easily check the distance and prepare correctly for a clear shot, to not get an animal wounded.
Hikmicro Habrok 4K would firstly connect me more to the nature because I do not have any nght vision yet so I usually wait only until the sun sets. So it would help me see animals even during night and also spotting during the day would be easier because of the thermal function. I think a good feature is the video and audio recording, also it is high quality. This way I could record what I see and show it to my friends. Another feauture I like is the zoom. You can really firstly observe and then when you see an animal you can look it up closely.

This type of binocular will not only be great for spotting at night but also for safety purposes in daylight, it is easy to spot whether something is behind the animals. Moreover, in the nighttime or evenings it will be easy to identify animals using the digital nightvision. The rangefinder is also great for long-range shooting, this binocular has everything!
The only thing i am slightly concerned with is the battery life, considering all functions i am afraid it will run out of battery a little bit fast. Will it have the capabilty to connect an external power supply?
Hi, short question. my last upgrade with alpex is asking me to change the password for the hotspot... after that its changed automatically? How can i bring it back to the old one? tx for help.
I've tested the old LH15 vs the newer version and it beats the new one hands down.. This is why we don't see any Reviews of a side by side comparison....
I would be interested to see a review of the rifle / thunder zoom mounting options. Is a clip on/clip off mount available so it can be used like a monocular thermal then clipped onto the rifle and used like a rifle scope for shooting. Cheers JoeP New Zealand
I have just purchased the Hik micro cheetah lrf. There is going to be a firmware update to include the ballistics calculator. I should imagine it will be a very similar operation to this programme. Do you have a rough date when the new firmware update will be available for the cheetah? Regards and thankyou in advance of your answer
