Since I first heard this piece I've loved it. I have sought out and listened to many different interpretations including "Morricone conducts Morricone" and I have to say this performance ranks alongside Morricone's performance as the 2 best I've ever heard. To Eva Steinaa my great appreciation for such a wonderful performance. I could feel the emotion in her playing. Simply Fabulous! I was in tears from the the first note from the oboe. 😂
Watching it on my laptop with a pair of headphones to better appreciate the whole orchestral arrangement, I stood up and applauded as an unconditional reflex at the end of the video.

When I thought back to my childhood, I looked for this movie again and watched it. Although my thoughts in my childhood are different from my thoughts now that I am over 20 years old, I still feel the feeling of this movie. Now I found this entertainment while searching for background music.
