Hello! Welcome! My name is Mavi. My goal with this channel is to share with you what I know about makeup, and motivate you to explore your creative side while enhancing the real YOU. Enjoy!
I loved the Pillow Talk Medium Lipliner with the Pillow Talk Intense Lipstick on you! it looked really beautiful! The Pillow Talk intense lip liner is way too dark and doesn't match the lipstick, there is way too much of a contrast!
I actually love the intense one that’s the one I want and I’m light skin tone ! Idk if I’ll use the liner with the lipstick but that lip liner would make a bomb espresso theme lip with a neutral lip gloss or matte
I love Estee Lauder double wear! It never lets me down only when they take photos with flash, though. And regarding transfers, I love to spray some setting spray between layers...the one from CT is pretty good🙌🏽
I enjoyed this video,, it helped me a lot.. Recently I ordered 4 lipsticks for my British colleague as Christmas gift,, I ordered Elson and obsessed for them,, I think these shades will look very gorgeous on them.. Cant wait to get them in my hand.❤
sorry i missed this comment! I hope they all your colleagues love their gift! Thank you for sharing your thoughts....makes me happy to know my video was helpful💛
Aww, thank you for sharing. Elson lipstick is indeed a classic red color, and I believe it goes very well with a lot of variety of skin tones. I would wait for a sale to get it though. Thank you again🤗💛
This makes me so happy... I'm glad I could help! Sorry I took a break for the longest, so I just had a chance to read your comment. Thank you for sharing your experience <3
I just bought the medium shade and WOW, am I ever impressed with both the color and the formula! It glides on like a dream and feels weightless on the lips. It does not dry my lips out at all, and even though I work a job where I talk on the phone all day long, it still looks good after 4-5 hours! I'm a huge fan of Chanel lipsticks, but I think I might like this one even better! I'm heading to sephora this weekend to pick up the original shade too. I am a makeup collector and probably have 300 lipsticks, no lie, and this one is in my top 3 for sure!
300 lipsticks!! haha love it! I'm glad you like the pillow talk medium as much as I do! Thank you for sharing your experience because it might help others and thank you for taking time to write this comment! I've been on a break for the longest so I just saw your message! thanks for understanding <3
Hi Mavi I have this foundation and a few other products by her I love but I’m having trouble getting it to not clump and cake and slide on my combination skin. I’ve got to use spf I’m her lightest shade but in cool, neutral. I cannot use her spf it has oils that will break me out. I tried an oil free sunscreen. Nope. I tried a lightweight moisturizer sunscreen low spf dangerous, nope. I tried oil control primer spf 35 under it nope left it dry and caked by hour 2.5 . I’ve tried using it alone GORGEOUS but skin cancer is a risk in my family. I really want this to work for me but what can I use on combination skin to prep it and for spf? Do you have any suggestions? Thanks so very much. God bless you ❤🙏💕💝💯
Hello Julie! Wow! You tried it all😲. Spf is super important so I'm glad it's your priority. It's mine too. My skin type is dry to normal so I'm trying to give you the best advice but I'm not sure if it's going to be successful since our skin types are different. Plus I'm not a skin pro so please be mindful. What I always recommend is to do a micro-exfoliation since dead skin and leftover makeup can mess with your foundation application. Try to get rice powder (Tacha has one very nice) but even better the Elemis pads, you can press these pads in circular motions...adding a bit of pressure all around your face. Then, I would go with a moisturizer but since you are oily skin, make sure you pick a gel base formula (clinique has a nice one, I think it's called "moisture surge") after that I will try the SPF for oily skin. Shiseido has one and I believe dermalogica has another good for oily skin. I will wait after each application for about 3 to 5 minutes so you give your skin time to absorb each product. After waiting, I will go with a small/ tiny amount of foundation. Don't worry because your skin prep will allow the foundation to spread easily. The key to the airbrush flawless foundation is to use a very little amount. Hope this helps. Best💛
Hi! Thank you for your interest. Both brushes are great to set, bronze, blush, and buff your face. Both are very soft and they won't disturb your makeup underneath. The smooth buffer is smaller for sure (like the half size of the mini keyaki buffer). Therefore, The smooth buffer will take longer to finish your makeup. It will give you more precision since it's smaller. If you have a small face maybe the smooth buffer is better. The smooth buffer feels a bit denser and it makes sense since the hair is a bit smaller. Also, the handles play an important part... I know some people with bigger hands prefer a longer handle. Do you need both? Mm...maybe not. I would say that the main difference is that the smooth buffer will give you more control over your application since it's smaller. But if you do not mind the short handle and you love Sonia G brushes, then get both because they will provide different experience but the results are the same in my humble opinion 😃
