I love this! Just some chilled riding around London! I can’t wait to get my license & get one of these! My friend has an R6 & I like the Ducati Panigale but they’re all so uncomfortable to ride! The Yamaha MT range looks perfect!
I have the xsr900 an upgrade from the 2016 xsr700 and wow it’s so much fun. The swing arm adds a glide that the previous xsr700 (same chassis length as pre 2022 xsr900) didn’t have. The electronics are fantastic and the dash is a lot better. Super fun bike all round. I commute 70kms each way through the week, do the run around whenever I can and a weekend blast through the trusties and it’s a blast.
Man, So how is the seat? Comfortable? Everybody says that very stiff and just for 45-60min no longer... True? What about suspension? Stiff a lot like a sport bike or like a normal commuting all round bike?

You ride the clutch a lot my man. Try focusing on less clutch usage. Bike is solid. Wonder what it looks like with the front windscreen you added. Maybe a walk around in the future? Thanks
Nice bike Cem Riding through the streets of London looks hazardous, lots of obstacles to try and avoid ! and good to see you keep the front brake covered at all times ! Is the XSR 900 yours and if so how does it compare with your previous bike? Stay safe Cheers Gray.
My previous bike was MT-09, frankly, I liked it more than the MT-09. Especially because of the long chassis, cornering performance seemed better to me.
@@CemPiler Thanks for your reply I also have a 2017 MT 09 and looking at upgrading to the new XSR900 for the reasons you quoted + the cruise control when touring would be a bonus!
Frankly, I haven't used non-stop 2-3 hours yet. It seems a little more comfortable to me than the MT-09, but of course it is not as comfortable as a cruiser.
I think it's great, even better than the MT-09. Just because the mirrors are at the end of the handlebars, it creates a bit of a problem to get between them in traffic...
Interesting to see how Brits drive compared to the Yanks in town traffic. Brits are much more calm and compliant. Don't ever think of splitting lanes in the city here in the states! It's hard enough avoiding traffic law violators! Love your XSR900....watching every video while waiting for mine to arrive at the dealership! Any day, now, I hope! Cheers
