I just got a built 2009 Pontiac G8 GT. It’s called and has long tube headers. Can kit is the RC Drag Master. It has stock brakes. So I need Brembos? They are so damn expensive. It needs so cosmetic repairs but for $14 I ain’t complaining! I won it!

I would sell it and find a nice G8... G8 is better all around... I had a 2006 Impala SS with the 5.3 v8 (same as grandprix) FWD v8 just doesn't cut it. LOL
did u address the rocker arm issue? if you didnt you might wanna look into it. your car has a similar setup to mine via the previous owner, however they didnt add the torque converter. long story short 30k miles later the trunnion needle bearings from the stock rocker arms came out and have been present in my oil changes since april. finally came up with the money to basically just put a better block in it. and its a nightmare. from one bro to another, if u need the CHE kit, shoot me a message. i opted to replace the entire stock rocker arm set with new rocker arms. but i purchased the che kit when i was first solo solving the entire afm lifter nonsense that basically triggers the trunnions to come alose easier due to how shitty the afm system is. the rocker arm job is doable solo and u dont have to remove the entire engine just the valve covers and torque em back down correctly. oh and look up the dude who makes the carbon fiber splitters on instagram lol. - '16 White SS
No thats not me, but i know there is a guy in Ohio with this plate.. I found out he had the same plate right after i posted mine on a G8 page when i got it....but I like it too much to change it. LOL
i just bought a 09 g8 gt for 2K the previous owner was convinced it was undrivable for thousands of dollars ( I told him it wasn't a serious issue before I bought it and he may want to get a tech to tell him the issues) but he said it had to go i bought a control arm and cleaned the internals ( about 400) in fixes and it runs perfect
I have a black g8 on ZL1 wheels I love mine it’s a v6 but super clean thinking about doing a swap in a couple of years my my engine give out but I love mine I’m also from Michigan

@@kcbonez I’m also getting one I would like to know what kinda of mpg your seeing just easy daily driving it . I have an envoy with a 5.3 in it and it weighs about the same I only have front seats in it no door panels and it’s decent no cam yet just cai an no cats and straight pipes
@@kevinobrien4155 this Solo Performance catback comes with these J-Pipes in the back that help alot with drone, Iv drove with out the j-pipes on car and it was very loud drone but went away after j-pipes went on
