My wife and I had at least 10+ of these for 15 years and have never had an issue. I have two of these on my front teeth and they match in color and looks perfectly with my other teeth.
Saying cerec save tooth structure vs lab made crown is false. Actually most cerec user will prep more to help the miling part as cerec can't mill thin margin. For strenth, unless you use emax and take the time to place it in the oven, most cerec ceramic is weaker than lab made one. For the fit, again, no advantage on cerec. Only cerec advantage is one appointment, but fit and finish is not to quality lab standard most of the time.
@@Aceinfinity-le8zc no , mine was a molar. It was so expensive to do the root canal and they made me a crown that didn’t match my bite. Luckily the endodontist did a good job so I had to pay more money for a zirconia crown but now it’s good.
Don't ever get one of these crowns. They are not a perfect fit, and some dentists cut corners to save time and machine wear like the bits used to make the tooth. What you end up with is a crappy tight fitting and uncomfortable tooth. You may have to hire a malpractice attorney to have this fixed. Often bad crowns win in court if proven right.
I've had a few Cerac crowns over the years on different teeth by Dr. Hamelburg and can easily say it is by far the fastest and most permanent method for capping old, bad cavity fillings that so many of gen Xers (and boomers) had when we were young children. You can eat and drink anything with Cerac crowns and there's no worry of it popping-off especially when on vacation and have to suffer the rest of rest of your trip with exposed tooth pain. Dr. Hamelburg has great chair side charm and shows and explains anything you want to see with regards to Cerac, the tooth prep, milling, and final installation and detailing. Thank you for helping give my teeth the longevity and durability that so many people like me ask for.
