Long story short: Had my life figured out, got shot, and life just scrambled itself again. Now doing my best to help people overcome trauma or at least try and get them on the right path to recovery. I'm not 100% healed yet, but I'm not 0% anymore. I'm here to tell you you can do this. not overnight, but you will. you can. I believe in you. Love, Ben Leonheart | hnrefugee
Honestly, as far as I remember, I've had them before, even before the accident; but they were not during daytime, it was just when I was falling asleep, I'd get those zaps... Now, they seem amplified... I get them more when I forget to take my sertraline (doctor prescribed it to me for depression and anxiety) I don't think the're related to the seizures at all, at least in my case
@@benleonheart well I’m glad they got better for you. We’re you on anti anxiety meds when they first started? Some meds can also cause that as a side effect. I know it’s more common with withdrawal but ive heard meds can also do it
@Mindy Parker no, I had brain zaps before when going to sleep at night... Before my diagnoses/medication Now I get them at random, with medication withdrawal or when i can't "predict" what's going to be the outcome of a situation
I'm so glad you did this update! YAY you're still driving and you finally got Apple! So happy for you. Keep focusing on all the goodness that's coming your way. You're in my prayers and I wish you all the best. Let Apple help you relax and rid yourself of the fears. Remember, FEAR is... False Evidence Appearing Real
Ben - Thanks for sharing your story! You are so RESILIENT and I love that you're telling your story to help others. I pray God's continuous healing over your life. You are an OVERCOMER!
I get them also! It is just like you showed in video. Could it be RF signals? I get them more often since a smart electric meter was installed about 12' from my bed. I seem to get them at night!
I used to not get them as frequently before the accident, I would just get them at night time and right before falling asleep, I honestly don't think it's RF signals, to me, it seems like a chemical imbalance... especially if you live a stressful life... back then, when I had them at night time; I was dealing with two jobs, my ex fiance, family, and church work... it was hectic but, now that I think of it, I also had a power outlet/coax outlet hybrid around 12' from by bed too... now they happen, randomly, as far away or as close from home, it doesn't matter now, but I know that it's because of the traumatic brain injury I sustained
You could be right. The guy answered your question according to his personal experience, which has nothing to do with yours, it seems. I hope you find a real answer.
hey ben, it’s glo. it’s always awesome to watch your videos. your story really touches my heart. i wish i could keep a positive mind just like you, but my mind is so stuck in its ways. i’m proud of you for sharing your trauma, that takes guts. and it’s awesome that you’re healing. you are amazing ben. you’re doing great. don’t ever forget that. message me anytime, please. i’m always here. thanks for sharing this ben, and again, i’m proud of you! 💕
Hey man, we were classmates in 10th grade. I was in A and you were in B, we weren't super tight, more acquaintances. It was a long time ago. I remember you getting the Mustang because they weren't very common in Honduras, and it was a sweet ride. I heard about what happened but never really learned more, I guess you went stealth mode afterwards. I'm glad you're in a good place now, and able to share your life story and experiences. Im in Tampa now, and I have family in Lakeland. Stay on your path.
Aaron, of course I remember you! Also yeah, lol, that mustang believe it or not, was at least fast enough to get me to "safety" Hope everything's going good, Aaron! Nice hearing from you!
Great job man. I shoot alot with my smartphones. Many of my videos are stock footage using power director but I shoot much of my own when I can. I love the pixel 4 xl and it's cinematic pan. It's a slow motion but I dig it. I use my phone's for all my videos and reaper for my music creation all guitar mostly. I need to check Into these macro lenses. Peace.
I agree!! I've been using my phone for photography as a form of PTSD therapy. Helps me get out, take pics and videos, and I rarely, if at all have to worry if the shots are going to be bad because of how good the camera is on this pocket computer 🙏 Keep on shooting!! Goog bes
@@benleonheart so true. True indeed. I went from my note 9 to pixel 4xl I purchased second hand. Had it about month or 2. Absolutely love it. Ok man take care. I subbed in the event you upload more. Haha.
@@bridarby2299 no, i started having the zaps before i experienced the 1st seizure... there might be some sort of relation between both. Have you recently stopped taking any medication?
hey ben! it’s glo. i had no idea about this. i’m so glad you’re still here, i’m glad you’re getting through this 💙 your emotions are so so valid, never give up pls!
oh wow thank you very much! I still have my ups and downs, not gonna lie... but I'm still standing ✌️ also I'm glad you recovered! those are great news!!
Hey, Ben. Glad to know you're doing well and better since the last time we talked. Seeing and hearing you laugh is making me happy, too. Keep it up! :)
I'm hanging in there, surviving, but it's been a long, long road! I can see it being a bit longer, but, it must end, as all things, good things, and even bad things, must pass eentually.

Oh my God man I'm amazed by your resilience and fortitude, the fact that you managed to get yourself to the hospital after that and you're now on your way to a more normal, stable life is just incredible.
They tried, and they failed. We still have our amazing Ben! Seeing those images is scary, I can't imagine how you feel / felt back then. I'm happy you're back on track for greatness <3
broooo thank you so much!!!! yeah I remember olim took the full on PTSD at first haha.. I wonder how he doesn't hate me lol I'm sorry but I've been trying my hardest to get better!! 😊😊✌️✌️✌️
I thought the spider would be the ugliest thing I was gonna see in this video, but then I noticed Ben's hand.. (and I doubt if it is hands, might be pubes...)
At this point it's hard to tell. In definitely not joking, but I'm doing all these things now to just try and get those thoughts off. No I don't think we live them.over and over, maybe I was living it when I was in coma
@@sleepingmedicine.x my temporal lobe was perforated by a 9mm expansive round, yes. I was way worse at first, which might explain the origins of those posts. Is rather not delete them so they can be proof for anyone who is struggling with something similar, that we all go through a pretty messed up state or various messed up states. Not because you want to but; like I said in the previous video; because That's how the brain works.
