The Church of the Incarnation is a diverse Episcopal parish located in the heart of Manhattan near the Empire State Building, Grand Central Station, and the Morgan Library.
Our congregation reflects the revived Murray Hill neighborhood that is increasingly popular with young professionals. At the same time, members commute to church from every part of Manhattan, as well as from the other boroughs, Westchester, Dutchess and Fairfield counties, and urban and rural areas of New Jersey.
Worship in traditional and contemporary forms (perhaps the most wide-ranging set of options in the city), intellectual exploration, and practical application of Christian principles characterize our parish.
The Incarnation family invites you to experience the warmth and welcome of our community. Come visit our national landmark building and experience the living faith that has sustained our community for over 150 years.
What a blessing and honor to Church of the Incarnation as an initial church of the Episcopal Diocese of New York to participate worldwide celebrating the 80th Anniversary of the first Episcopal woman Priesting of Florence Li Tim-Oi
Remembering my mother in law, Vera Capps Avery, who passed last year and by her gentle Christian example, led me back to church this year after a 25 year absence
Love to see the change and watch the recording on Friday for the first time, it is so convenient to just click the button while reading, thank you so much.🕊️❤️
Sadly the message of the great is often distorted or filtered in ways they never meant in years following their deaths. Thank you for letting MLK speak for himself and reminding us of his deeper message beyond the jillion memes we'll see tomorrow
This sermon is so beautiful and important. Sad tho as it's contradictory at the beginning the with 'mask option for vaxxed only.' Hard to believe this is New York. Missing the church and everyone there -xo-
Thank You for your thoughtful comments on the plight of the people of Afghanistan. May the "droplets of water" trun into a raging river of pray and support for those now suffering at the hands of the Taliban. Chip
