Which moron decided that the Skip Intro button already built into Netflix wasn't enough and figured all viewers would need this intro expunged after season premieres? What a waste... it's not like they have to worry about timeslot limitations and commercials
banger opening to a lack luster show. where is Darren Aronofsky for direct another wrestling film when you need him? for a show that tries to look "80s", it looks more like a mockery than trying to capture the time period's aesthetic.
To be fair, didn't GLOW last about that long in real life? At some point it would transition from GLOW to POWW where they would bring in more veteran female wrestlers and actually get a REAL wrestling ring.
@@MeluhKnight I didn't mind it. I just didn't liked that they killed Justin! It made very sad and upset inside that he deserved better after everything he went through! :(
I LOVE this song, always have. Genuine question here, Holly - is it just me or are there some VERY raunchy undertones craftily concealed in the lyrics? If so, then it definitely gives Prince a run for his money in the naughty dept. It would also mean I've been interpreting the song correctly for the last 35 years - and well done also for sneaking it past the censorious powers that be! Subversive indeed! 😀
When I watched the first episode with this incredible Scandal song starting it, I knew that it's going to be a great series (like most Netflix shows). After watching it, I was almost tempted to marathon the 9 remaining episodes but I resisted the temptation! I'm going the stretch them, hehe!
They probably only used it very sporadically, because the Netflix algorithm told them more people hit the "skip intro" button more often than not. Honestly I love the intro, but I have a friend who hits the "skip intro" button on EVERY SINGLE SHOW HE WATCHES (no matter how short). When people don't care for intros, gold like this gets overlooked.
