Thank you for your wonderful comment and yes I love darts. They allow us the ability to fit every curve, use them straight up and down , sideways. Short darts long darts. They’re great.
I just wanted to say how I was watching upcycling videos one night, (which is all I watch also....no TV) and I saw you walk up to a blazer, tailors chalk it, and deftly cut off the sleeves and create a spiral up the blazer from bottom hem to waist. I HAD NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THAT DONE, EVER ! My jaw was in my lap. On a hanger in my office, was a brown coat that I was feeling very uninspired about upcycling, and the emotions of excitement and fear that I felt while doing the same thing to that coat were just incredible. I did pull it off, ended up upholstering it with modern fabrics, and then did some boro type stitching on the exterior. SUCH INCREDIBLE FUN ! Thank you so much !
