I agree with the flag curb, 8mm looks like a very nice mm. I'd add the Byzantine to the list. For silver bracelets lately I've been really into the Bali styles such as the previously mentioned Byzantine as well as the Foxtail and rare thick Snake chains.

FYI there is zero difference between the sides of the foil (shiny/dull) it is just the way it is pressed that one side will be duller.
