My everyday life at work as a machine driver in Arne Olav Lund as. I started to work in this company in mai 1993. This company i work for do mostly waterand sewer rehabilitation, road constrution and we have som excavations of building sites. I am now driving a new cat 335 next gen that I got in october 2021 with oilquick and a cat rototilt TSR23
Jepp. Det er ett skikkelig kulde hull🤣🤣🤣. Ligger litt langt bak her nå🫣🫣🫣.
Sir, if u have some more money please come to Indonesia in South-East Asia. In my country Indonesia you can see so many of excavator, mining, construction but the GDP still low 😂.
how is CATs new generation of machines? I've heard from multiple people (also people that have no idea what they are talking about), that the CAT NG is not very good anymore? I don't see how the NG would be worse than a 335 of an earlier generation. A company owned by a friend is soon going to purchase new excavators and they asked for opinions which manufacturer they should aim at. I am sure your opinion would be very qualified.
To say exactly what I mean about NG TIL Caterpillar. It's one of the best machines I've driven 🤩🤩. But I've only have this for a job for 40 years🫣😉🤣🤣. If the next gen hadn't come, I wouldn't have chosen caterpillar😳. I don't think their F series was any good😵💫😵💫. There has been no nonsense with this machine of mine. The cabin comfort is top notch and much better space inside than in the other machine brands. The adblue system has worked flawlessly so far. Because I only had problems with it when I drove a Volvo 😩. And I like the new screen indide with the new weight system, I just love it😍😍Not least equally important is that it is very strong on the lift 💪💪. So all in all, I am super satisfied and can really recommend CAT 🤩🤩🤩
@@Vidarsteinsland Thank you! Appreciate your time and effort into making these videos and going through the comments/answering them as well! Although I believe they tend towards Liebherr new g8 series. From what I heard they are going for R926 G8 with extendable boom. Should be a good machine too, no? They said solely Liebherr because we are in Germany and their dealers are more common than CAT in their region.
@bdtms Liebherr is a good and solid machine🤩👍, but I don't like the cabin and the way they have made pedals and foot rests🫣😳. I also don't think they have a weight system in their screen either😱😱😱. But the taste is like the butt, it's split🤣🤣The Liebherr is also much more expensive than CAT here in Norway 😳
@@AceGametech nice to hear that you like my videos🤩🤩. I am very happy with my machine😀. But I hope that we will get a different type of job in the future. I'm getting tired of ditch jobs🫣🤣🤣
i hurt myself years ago being the guy that worked with his body, such as a pick and shovel. if i found myself switching to this form of work i think id cry from sheer joy of NOT beating my body up anymore
It wasn't fun to hear 😩. Fortunately, it has become better to be a ground worker today with all the equipment we have on the excavators in Norway today👍. There is not much work anymore with the body compared to when I started in 1984😳👍
Thanks. THIS pipes is 1000 mm big and 7 meters long🫣. the weight of it is 3 tons, so there are big pipes. They are the biggest pipes I have put in the ground😀
Caterpillar's system is fantastically good🤩👍. The Norwegian Road Safety Authority is after the trucks all the time to check if they are driving with too much load. So I use this system all the time. Here in Norway, they are allowed to weigh between 50 and 60 tonnes. Then they have between 28 and 32 tonnes depending on how many axles they have on the trucks😀👍
We use barbecue coal to thaw frozen ground so that it is easier to dig in winter to find fiber and power cables. This is a very effective way to thaw the frozen ground 👍.
There will be a few more videos from this job and then unfortunately there won't be so many videos in the future because my boss doesn't like me posting videos on YT😥😥. So we'll see what happens in the future, but I'm a little unsure there🥲
@brianmurphy2494 I hope it works out. I know I'm allowed to film when there aren't that many people around the machine. The Norwegian Privacy Act is strict. That's the one he's most worried about. So I will probably film a bit in the future as well👍. But I have many hours of film coming out in the future, but not very often. I have a lot to do in the coming weekends because I will be selling my house next year. But those films are coming🤩👍
@ConstructionChannelLuxembourg I know😥😥. But it is a man at the top who decides, unfortunately 🙄. But we'll see what happens in the future🤩👍. I still have a few hours of videos to go out👍
Hi 🤗. I'm probably not the right person to make a video about how this GPS I have. I just dig for the lines I get on the screen. I've never been particularly interested in how the rest of this system works😳. I just turn it on in the morning and continue digging🫣😜
It is important not to spill the expensive crushed stone🫣. It will also be a lot of work to clean up a spill of crushed stone. When I'm done with the job, the traffic will be moving in both directions. Greetings from the driver of the machine😜👍
@dylanwalters7039 Thank you, I'm glad you like my videos 🤗🤗. We had a cold winter when I filmed this. We had minus 31 degrees at the coldest 🥶🥶🥶Rototilt is a good tool to have on the machine🤩👍. We use GPS on all our machines and on all the jobs we have 😉👍. It takes a little longer to get the videos out now because I have to blur the people in the films. I have to do this because of Norwegian personal protection law🙄
There will be some shaking in the body 😳😳. But we have very good chairs in the machine that take a lot of bumps and shakes👍. I also wear a seat belt so I sit securely in the chair🤩👍
Mira oilquik en you tube🤩👍
Just found your channel. Very interesting stuff. So do they lay the coal on the ground they want you to soon dig up? How cold is it? Greetings from the US!
We use coal to thaw frozen ground around fiber cables. This is a very effective way of doing it👍. It was a meter thick with frozen ground😩. But it was gone overnight because it gets so hot from the coal. We had about minus 27 degrees when I filmed this🥶🥶🥶
Wow, that's a beautiful machine you're running. I scrolled through some of the comments then laughed at the 29:54 one and noticed you spun the bucket around and there was that claw contraption on the other side. Beautiful video to watch.
Very nice to hear that you like my videos🤩👍. I am very fond of the grip cassette on the Rototilt. I use it for many strange things. Then I don't have to get out of the machine to move things😜👍🤣🤣.
What were those mats in the first few minutes of the video? Are those home made ground mats from old tires? Is that rope or wire holding them together? Please explain. Thank you!
These are something we call blasting mats and we use them when we blast the hard granite rock we have in Norway. In such a way that there should not be stones splashing everywhere😳👍 and they are handmade by people in a factory. It is as you write, old tires from trucks sewn together with coarse steel wire. These mats I have here weigh about 1.5 tonnes💪
