That makes perfect sense to me. Part of the fun of traveling is meeting new people & exploring new cultures. I think Lookout Cay offers a chance to explore the Bahamian culture & nature that is perfect for families that might have young children & not be comfortable getting out on their own too much. Plus, I think they have the most amazing beach! It never gets old. ❤🌊
😂🤣😂🤣 I do hope you see your own reflection when you look in the mirror. He is a crazy kid for sure. Thanks for always watching & stopping in for a comment.
Pirate themed rooms would have been so awesome!!! I can tell you must be a fellow Disney adult & the name of this hotel reminds me of Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. ;)
Planning starts with complimentary, customized assistance, step by step planning emails & one person you can contact for all of your questions. For some of my VIP concierge clients I will include Universal Orlando gift cards in their package. Thanks for watching. Melissa
Excited for our first Disney cruise this winter. Big family, so we got connecting balcony rooms and your video was super helpful to see what it will be like on the Fantasy!
You're 100% correct about the room type and that's a great point. One thing I do like about Royal Pacific is that the Club rooms are on the same level/floor & down the hall from the club lounge for easy access. At Portofino the Club rooms are spread throughout the resort & although their club is absolutely amazing, many of the rooms are not near the club location.
Thanks for watching. Ultimately if you have access to a car it provides the most flexibility. Since we are in Florida taking our car is the easiest option for us.
I didn’t see an iron or a hairdryer. Are those in the room? If not, do you have any recommendations for those products that are safe for the cruise and the outlets?
Thanks so much for a follow up review. Disney does seem to be trying to deal with the “fly around the food” problem. It was also nice to see water stations on the pier.
Thank you for your kind words, we appreciate it. We just uploaded a follow up video yesterday from our second visit to Lookout Cay and discussed concerns people have & the improvements Disney is making. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VieU2YToxsQ.htmlsi=_pND-kIYeC7EgAAT Thanks for watching! - Melissa
That's a great question. We visited during the preview cruise on 9/10 & again on another cruise on 2/20. I feel like there were fewer flies during our most recent stop. They have put in fans to keep the flies away from the food. I'm not sure there will ever be zero flies, but it seems like there are a lot less.
Very nicely done video. I’m impressed with how professional it looks. Looks like a wonderful island to visit. Looking forward to seeing part two of the video.
Thanks so much for watching & being a fan. We appreciate that more than words can explain. We love hearing kind comments from people. Virtual hugs, Melissa & Eastin
Thank you for joining us on our pier walk, we'll be back at Lookout Cay in a week & plan to follow up on any changes. Have you been to Lookout Cay? What did you think about the pier walk? Does the pier discourage you from visiting Disney Cruise Line's newest private destination? Let us know in the comments below.
It's actually really beautiful & there is an ocean breeze. We liked stopping along the way & looking down into the crystal clear water to see what was swimming under us. Thank you for watching & stopping in for a comment! - Melissa

Excellent job on the video, Guys! So much hard work and effort put into it and very appreciated! Looks like a fantastic add to the Disney Cruise experience!
Thank you so much. You are so sweet! I'm not going to sugar coat it, we did spend the entire day gathering content & that night until 3am + the following morning editing to add the information. You know how that is to try to create content while you travel. ❤ Sending virtual hugs. - Melissa
I see you are a fellow snorkeling fan. The blue life jackets are free of charge. I've heard they will be adding an underwater snorkeling garden like Castaway Cay has . 😉 Happy snorkeling - Melissa
Thank you for watching & leaving some kind words. You are correct. The snorkel vests are not free, but the blue life jackets are. At least, that's how it is at this time. I've heard they have plans to add an underwater snorkeling garden like Castaway Cay has, it's just not there yet. Happy Snorkeling! - Melissa
I'm hoping they will have a better solution for that when we go back in less than 2 weeks. I did notice that they added some fans over the food that were helping.
Hopefully they will work on that. They did add some little electrical fans around the food that seemed to help a bit. We'll follow up on that after our next visit in almost 2 weeks.
🤣 Oh my gosh, a fellow 'snack mule'! hahahaha. I'm so glad you can relate & I'm not alone. Thanks for watching & stopping in to leave a comment. - Melissa
@@Pixiedustadventures the people working in the lounge are incredibly nice and always checked to make sure everything was ok! This was the best staff i've ever encountered (and we've stayed at a lot of club levels).
Hello... thinking of booking this room for an Iceland cruise. Just wondering if the slide was a huge problem for you? As in, did you hear people screaming down it at all hours of the day? Thank you!
How exciting that you are dreaming of Iceland cruise! Such an amazing itinerary! From our room we did not hear any noise from the slide & the slides did have operating hours which helped as well. Reach out to me & send me your cruise details & get started with a quote. I would love to help you plan. Bon Voyage!!! ~ Melissa Melissa@PixieDustAdventures.com ~ www.PixieDustAdventures.com
Thanks for watching! That's exciting that you'll be going on the AmaLea this summer! It's a beautiful ship with a fantastic crew! We didn't feel like we had to dress up for dinner in the main dining room. If you plan to have a meal at the Chef's Table, you should bring something a little dressier. A dress or slacks. Happy Sailing! - Melissa
So you touched on pretty much everything but didn't mention the balcony. What's the story with that? I mean they got a balcony railing out there with seemingly no way to access it and it's got me curious and confused as to the why is it even out there?
Hello, Thank you for watching, we're glad you found our video helpful. There was no balcony in either of our rooms. The railing you see outside of the windows is strictly for design. There is no way to open any doors or windows & exit the room. This is the first & oldest Westin hotel, so it might be possible that those used to be actual balconies many years ago, but now they are probably used for a convenient way to watch the windows. Happy Travels - Melissa
Thank you for stopping in to leave a kind comment, that made my day. You're going to love your room & the AmaLea, the crew are amazing & the experience will be unforgettable. Thanks for watching. Happy Sailing. Melissa - Pixie Dust Adventures
When I stayed at this hotel we got club level for free. We payed for a normal room but there was multiple different story’s with the same room and we so happened to be on club level and it was brilliant ❤xx
