I went to a store today that had bugs on so many plants. I went into my car and covered my clothes with hand sanitiser. I was so nervous to bring them home with me. 😮

Hi, thank you ! Shipping varies with each order. You can learn as you go, that is what I did. Do some research on the plant groups to see what everyone else is doing for shipping, then go from there. I hope that is helpful. You can do it don't be scared .I was at first but then I got the hang of it after a while. I still get nervous sometimes when it's hot or cold out .
Hi and thank you. Ficus family plants need water. If your weather where you are is hot check on ALL PLANTS every 2 to 4 days. Most plants like Bright indirect warm spots. To enhance warmth you can visit your local Dollar Tree and buy $ 1.25 rugs to put underneath plants. Ficus plants DO NOT like to go many days without being checked for water especially if it is really hot weather. If you have humidifier you can use that for ficus plants. If not separate ficus plants from collection, spray mist them with water and let them dry a little before you put them back home. Misting ficus plants is not substitution for watering these plants. The mistingis for the leaves. Remember let them dry a little before you put them back in their several homes. This is to avoid fungus especially if plants are bunched together. There should be air circulating around plants at all times especially in hot weather. Or else limit how close you have your plants bunched together leaving space for air to circulate around each of them. Running out of space, GO VERTICAL. You can do what I've done and hang a light weight flat board from the ceiling on hooks. I created a little wooden railing around board so plants won't fall off. Use a level to check for even hanging of board. I have one in my bedroom and one for my living room. There you go, more room for plants. Get a 4:step STEP STOOL which is easy to move about and easily let's you reach your plants. Well, that's my point of view. HAPPY PLANTING AND SUMMER!!
@@LatinaPlants Morning! Yes, I'm a soil lady. So Most of my plants are in soil. I propagate in water mostly and Spragnum moss.(my moss comes from Dollar Tree. It is real moss.) When I bring a plant home between 2 days to a week (acclimation) I change my new plant to my amended soil. Draining soil if plant does not like to stay wet very long or not so draining soil if plant likes to stay moist a while. One soil and my amendments and how much makes the difference of how long soil stays wet. I like to buy soil that already has some amendment in it. I can tell by how chunky the bag feels. Right now I buy a soil in a GREEN BAG from FAMILY DOLLAR. Focus is, zoom in on the plant environment it has come from. If you can imitate that environment, wallah! If you can't because you're limited, stay away from plants you can't provide for. Plants are so beautiful. And each unique and at times exciting. Yes. most of my plants are in plastic pots. Holds moisture better. I have 1 or 2 ceramic and a few terracotta. I only use terracotta for plants that like to stay dry. (Cactus, succulents, any plants that holds water in its stems or leaves) HAPPY PLANTING!!
Fascinating video! You are probably one of the neatest persons I know doing a repot! When I do a repot, I can put down plastic and plan to keep it neat and it always ends up being a big mess with a cleanup afterwards! You did most of those in that small container! Do you always do bare root?
Hi, thank you ! I like to be clean and organized. I am assuming you're asking about removing all the soil. I do that when it's a new plant or if the plant is having trouble, and I need to take a look at the roots.

Awwww.... I'm sorry you didn't find the plants you were looking for. That alocasia was a melo, but it looked like it was a variegated melo. Those have been going around on the big Box Stores. That's what I would have purchased 😊😊😊 Your hair looks gorgeous!
Hello! First time visiting your channel. Where (more or less) is this Home Depot? I'd love to know because if it is remotely close to where I am, chances are "my" HD will have similar plants. I'm looking for a ricrac cactus!
That begonia needs verrrrry high humidity. They're actually more of a terrarium type plant unless you have a cabinet. If they're out of their humidity for more than 20 minute's...lol they start to look rough. Home depot is NOT the spot for those 😬🤷♀️
