Ok, i'm saving this in my playlist. I have seen people say that Aerith and Cloud are like Romeo and Juliet but I disagree. Tifa's dad had told young Cloud to stay away from her after they fell off the mountain. It's like R&J, where they can't be together because of some their family feud. When Sephiroth struck Tifa, Cloud thought she was dead and then he, knowing that he stood no chance against the strongest Soldier, still went charging in to kill him while putting his own life on the line. If Zangen hadn't rescued Tifa and Hojo hadn't experimented on Cloud, they be both dead. This seems more Romeo and Juliet to me and this video clearly shows why they are meant for each other.
I'll admit when I first played FFVII back in '97, I was one of those guys that didn't make it past the first disc. I couldn't get into it; I had a bad gameplay experience. I had just come from playing Chrono Trigger and Super Mario RPG and was playing the PC port on a crappy Pentium. The random battles and long load times were keeping me from enjoying the game. But even so, as a 16 year old boy, at the time I was rooting for Cloud to end up with Tifa. For all the silly, superficial reasons of a teenage boy. Now as a 43 year old man, having gone through high school, starting college, finishing college, starting a career then changing careers (twice), marriage, successes, failures, the ups and downs of, you know, life... I'm rooting for Tifa. Life really threw a lot of crap her way and she handles it like a f^%$^% boss. She deserves the best. I don't know if it's the whole "I don't see myself in Cloud's shoes anymore, I see myself in hers" or what. I just know she better win out in the end and find happiness. I want the sappiest, tear-jerking "happily ever after" like you see in kDramas for her. Is that odd for a middle age man to say...that I relate more to Tifa? To see the game through her eyes? lol, it is what it is I suppose. lovely video, see y'all in part 3 :)
@@sebastianmarquez3014 I think Tifa’s struggle is admirable and even at times relatable (god forbid anyone lose as much as she loses before she’s the legal drinking age) So, no! Not weird at all. I don’t necessarily relate to all the strife she’s endured, but I do empathize. Cloud is the one guy who didn’t view her as a trophy. And while they may have lost multiple homes, they still have each other. There’s something really beautiful about Cloti being one another’s home. And the Re-Trilogy is making it pretty clear it was always Tifa for Cloud. So I’m very excited to see their love really blossom in part 03 and this slow burn turn into a full on inferno 🔥❤️🔥🔥
@@sassytheeunicorn It is nice, even though it's fiction, to point to an example of how relationships can bring comfort and make each other better in the end. And I agree, something about them being each other's home does warm the soul. Thanks for all you do Sassy!
I went back to watch all the Cloud and Tifa cutscenes from remake and rebirth and there are so many of them! I just finished reading Trace of Two Past and I love how it embellishes their narrative and backstory. They were really smitten with each other since they were kids. I’m beyond excited to see what’s coming in part 3.
I’ve said it many times regarding these two. Cloud without Tifa is nothing. She’s what pulls him back, grounds him, she is proof he is who he says he is. Without her he would become just an empty puppet for Sephiroth to control. It’s why Sephiroth is so dead set on trying to break them apart in rebirth. He knows he loses because of her. And yet, dare I say it, love endures. In the face of Cloud becoming just like Sephiroth, she doesn’t blow up at him, she doesn’t distance herself from him, and she doesn’t blame him for what he’s done. She listens to him and is there for him. Because he’s all she has left. Maybe that’s selfish of her. Maybe it’s selfish of her that she isn’t saying anything to him about their past. But in her mind he might disappear if she says anything. Like all the other people in her life that she’s loved. She can’t lose him too. These two broken individuals dancing around their real issues is so indicative of people who are in love but won’t talk about it. Tifa trying desperately to be there for him but also lies to him to keep a sense of stability, and Cloud, a shattered man with so many people influencing him on the inside. He can’t make heads or tails of what is really going on with him and her. Because Cloud doesn’t understand himself. How could he fully understand her? The lifestream segment and the highwind scenes are going to be the most important and emotional of next game. And I can’t wait to see how this relationship ends. Let’s hope it ends where we all hope it will. Tifa. Never give up on Cloud. Cloud. You better take care of her.
All the people who said they are just friends, how you guys feeling? You coping well? Cloti is such a good ship and this amv made me emotional af *sob*
When you revisit the Gold Saucer in Chapter 12, you have to look around for Dio. He’s at the Battle Arena, but if you check the other areas, you’ll find the party members. Tifa is hanging near the Skywheel, and if you speak with her, you’ll trigger this conversation.
Tifa's golden saucer date is so distinguished from the rest from walking to the ferriswheel to go leaving. It's clear as glass SE deliberately make it romantic. This is another proof of Tifa's canon couple. The others date, including Aerith's, they all refer to "another missions/adventure" before going back, except for Tifa.
I think your slow burn cloti videos have been in my routine I literally come back here once in a while 😂 Hope you can make another one for part 3 later, its gotto be awesome!
@@sassytheeunicorn there's a song called You Were There For Me by Henry Moodie that I think fits perfectly with CloudxTifa. Let me know what you think? 😁
Spending their last momments together in case they wouldn't make it to tomorrow.... cloti is my favorite paring of all time. They are just so deep and passionate for each other. Its like they will be bound to eachother for eternity.
