Don't get me wrong, this is certainly one of the hardest quests in the whole game ...but I still beat it almost every time. I think I only died once. Your build obviously sucks and/or you're not using your resources. Put up your Quen shield and use some healing potions/decoctions/bombs.
Oh build definitely wasn’t the best but as I answered to other comments it was my first playthrough and I had no idea what to expect and Quen if I remember correctly was taking only one hit cause I wasn’t speced into it and didn’t have decoctions and pots made making it harder for myself 😁
Put your shield up asap and throw northern wind bombs, drink your potions and decoctions with the relevant oils on. Just think about it. Don’t go swinging right off the bat. Formulate a plan.
Unfortunately for me I had no idea what I’m gonna be up against. Listening to the conversation thought i’d fight a specter or a wraith. I was literally ambushed in the worst way possible :D
