I really enjoyed the series however the ending left so much more to be discovered. Hopefully there will be a season 2! I kinda wonder if the reason she went into the forest was because she lost her parents and she was trying to find herself. If she lost them while she was gone that would haunt her. She didn’t think about the impact her being gone would have on her family and friends. Overall I did enjoy watching this ❤
I was so disappointed to learn there would be no explanation of what happened to her parents or even further observation of how Penelope processed such shocking news. The beginning of the show, was tough for me too. As a mother of teenagers I hated the way she ended up in the woods, thinking of how her mother's life would have been impacted by Penelope's un-discussed decision to walk away from her life. I found myself thinking at every stage what might be happening in her former life - what her parents would have been going through, her friends, her town. Overall I really enjoyed the show but I'm pretty big mad at the ending.
I was disappointed at the ending. Hoped there would be a season 2 to find out what happened to her parents. Seems like a cliffhanger. I agree with your thoughtful assessment if this was indeed the end of the show. Sad.
I felt so bad for panday specially the part where his photo was also in the missing board. I didn’t believe that he died, and in the end the truth was lost.
second theory is much more plausible, she had a good life she said, I don’t believe you can just up and leave if something life changing didn’t happen. Also her having other delusions made me think that even more
I believe the woman was having a very bad trip because of oxygen deprivation, and was still under severe psychosis when she left the grave, if she ever left it. But the movie was made in such a way that both interpretations can be true. This movie is one of the scariest shit I've ever seen. Very well made.
Screw the ending, I came her for entertainment and to turn my brain off in some moments. I like watching this, it was entertaining. Story wasn't the best, but how they represented Norse gods as Dicks was entertaining.
the ending was so bad man it laked substance the whole series we see thor as some Brickelberry like character on roids and road rage and then in a spam of what 1 minute,he's all chill like yea take this ale Sigrid not to mention the lack of a cliffhanger,if you want to make a second season then at least give me a reason to want a second season
This is not a murder mystery. A murder mystery is a whodunit genre and we only know the actual murderer at the end of the film. Murder mystery focusing on 'who.' But in this film, we know Maria killed her husband at the midpoint which is in the middle of film. I think this film is more to reversed mystery genre, or thriller. Mystery element only half of the film.
My theory is Donny went back to actually confront Darrien, but as soon as he entered the apartment, all the trauma kicked in and his body was left defenseless. His mind reverted back to the way he used to act around Darrien due to the trauma. I don't think he went back to work with Darrien.
Sirgrids Fate was decided when the Valkyrie took a liking to her. The curse on her abducting the weapon was nullfied hence her going to Valhalla. The same Valkyrie took her. Imo
@@aminkamara6060 the ending objectively was just super abrupt and disappointing. Out of the whole show which had excellent pacing and even downright solid writing just for the very end to fall flat with a bunch of plot points that really should have been left out till next season like the whole Valhalla sequence should have just happened next season with Sigrid that would have been a much better stopping point leaving it up in the air if she went to Valhalla or hell. Also Loki shouldn’t have been able to kill her with a normal ass knife considering she hardened her skin with the swamp earlier in the season unless I missed something where the dagger had magical properties. Other than that I think the show was awesome just not a huge Zack Snyder fan his directing or really any creative input he has always for some odd reason had a fascination with adding Jesus into the mix and I just fucking sick of it 😂
This was really helpful. I was lost when I started season 2 and couldn’t make head nor tail or the different characters and what they were up to. This is so much better than the recap Netflix showed before S2, which was too fast and too confusing. Thank you so much!!
Dreadful AI blabber review about a drab, dreamy film that basically says states how country folks are just as creepy as city folk. There's lots of the same schmaltzy sentimentality that the director's most famous film, Drive My Car, is full of as well. Ryusuke Hamaguchi is a pretentious and overrated director, like many of the critics trying to interpret this movie.
@@TheVid54 oh AI blabber. 🐥😂 Just because something exists in this world, doesn't mean everyone uses. But thank you for dropping by and sharing your valuable thoughts
@@mikecoolen3146 It was. It's either the valkyrie fell in love with her as mythology deems them kinda fluid or she just won her favour. Did you notice that it was the same valkyrie?
@mikecoolen3146 Again, I think the merging of Odin and Sed-Kona too will have a role in that due to him being the one who decides who attains valhalla and who doesn't.
This series got me depressed. Everyone almost acts like a phicopath. None of the gods seems wise or that inteligent. I linked Loky the moust. Magic in this world doesn't make sense and feels like everyone is on drugs.
I didn't have Marvel-like Asgard expectations but it seems something is lacking in the show. For example I like Blood of Zeus where there is character growth , and there is more world building .
That’s because you have a wrong idea of what the gods are supposed to be you want them to be selfless and perfect when they’re not they’re very much flawed selfish they just happen to be immortal and very powerful. You have your ideals of what they should be but in reality in Norse mythology or any other mythology for that matter all gods are flawed and not perfect at all
Don’t even bother watching it’s genuinely an insultingly awful depiction of true crime that I’ve seen in a minute. So many inappropriate, unnecessary ,goofy ass moments that were not accurate ,which did not treat the real story with the truth and respect the brothers rightly deserved. It’s literally a pervy over-sexualised weird director/producers Hollywood fantasy of the brothers story that they’ve just bought to the big screen. It discredits any of the real evidence that was shown in court and that the brothers fought so hard to make others believe. Truly disappointing.
