The Sims 4 feels more like a "Doll House Simulator" than it does a Life Sim game. In the Sims 2 and 3, Sims would play out their own stories with autonomy and the player following their wants. In the Sims 4, the player has to dictate everything in their head like playing dolls
I HATE THE MIDLIFE CRISIS. My sims are stressed, unable to focus, mean to their family- for 7 DAYS STRAIGHT. Work rivals are quite literally way too much work to WANT to get rid of, If I’m being so honest. I genuinely just want to quit my sim’s job, and get a new one instead. Social Bunny has always bothered me in the sense it doesn’t expand into adulthood. Adults very much use social media, and I wish they implemented more options to post about. Like, oh! Just had a baby, this is a social bunny moment! Not, oh! I just went shopping, let me post this. High school years was a major flop in total, seeming as it came completely broken and unfinished anyway.
I completely stopped playing the sims all together after high school years because 1, I was tired of redownloading my CC after every update and I didn’t find a way to update them without deleting them all and trying to find the CC I HAD all over again, 2. THE SCHOOLS SUCKEEDDD. Like omg why is it so empty inside? Looked nothing like the trailer.

Light Academia casual style is also Hermione Granger's type of style; at least that is what I imagine, since they had the movie version wear more of a contemporary street type of style in the Harry Potter movie sequels, I feel they did her style type all wrong; I mean it looks fine for Emma Watson; but, not so much for Hermione.
The ordinate coffins are the most comfortable out of the lot. Maybe the reason the other sims have the habit in going through the wrong door might be because the wrong door has the front door setting active instead of the other door?
Since the adopted kids are ordinary children, Caleb will have to be more wary of the other vampires, especially when they get to teen age and when he will have Vlad Straud come knocking on his door.
Even though the Cauldron is great for cooking you'd get more out of it as a Spellcaster, but the good thing about having a cauldron is you don't get the jacked up energy bills when you use it. With So many kids and grown ups in the household, one might want to consider adding Wind turbines and solar panels for cleaner energy efficiency and replace electric lights with sconces and neon light walls and or flooring; Oh and you might want to also want eco friendly traits for the home lot too. If you don't have room for the water generators you could add cubed sections of roofs that can catch and absorb rain water since one whole eco roof only catches 1 inch of rain at a time.
I always cheat my way into expanding all skills to the one sim I play and I try to avoid perfectionist trait because of the negative quirk that comes with it, and even though the repercussions are more minority in the Well Rounded trait, I am opted to use the "Happy at Home Rewards" bonus trait "Practice Makes Perfect" for my sim character, because it is a cross between Well Rounded and Perfectionist traits without the negative quirks.
Literally binge watched this series after stumbling upon this video and don't regret it. It was so much fun and I also got some cool gameplay ideas. I'm your faithful subscriber now, looking forward to watching other series :))
I never really enjoyed the Island Living expansion, the paranormal pack was actually annoying with the weird blobby ghosts I enjoyed Vampires and Witches the best
Ah ah so true. HSY was really the worst. I never thought about the ski competitions, classes or job but now that you said it, it is so true OMG. And the fact taht MWS has dozen of events (most that you barely use) but no honeymoon has always killed me.
High School Years is top tier. It adds loads of goals for teens. That's the niche it fills, and I've never stopped using it. It completely succeeds as good video game design. I love the aspirations, the trophies, the unlockables, the traits. It adds so much to raising a sim. Good game systems. If it fails as a story prop for those who don't play it like a video game, who are skimming the surface and just poking it wanting to be entertained, or who want to recreate TV drama, that's different. ----- The opposite of HSY is Cottage Living which has very poor game systems that lead nowhere. Errands are mind numbingly bad design. The farming serves no possible in-game purpose. There's really bad game design there, but most players aren't here for that. It as a prop for stories and works well in that role. ----- Island Living has one of the best game systems in Sims 4. The Child of the Island, Sulani Mana, Island ancestor loop. Sulani Mana passes down genetically, forever. It's inherited. The trait abilities have always been useful for plants, but with Crystal Creations the lava bombs are a source of rare metals without having to travel far. If a sim dies with that trait they go into the pool of sims that can be summoned by the next Child of the Islands. Grandma can show up as an island ancestor. And I'd bet you didn't know that.
I only bought the Star Wars pack for the Build/Buy stuff... mainly for Sci-Fi Builds and maybe also for the Light Sabers as theres RPs i do that use them but that's rare...
I deduce that when A good vampire is so desperate enough in his thirst, he will automatically ask his human other if he could feed, but if they are super in love the way they do and Happily Married, he will just have her permission without question. I have watched another video for the sims 4 and I learned that having a werewolf baby is much more of a coin toss compared to having babies with other occult types and you'd most likely get a Vampire baby for the majority of the time, even when compared to how often you get the chance to have a Spellcaster baby.
If Caleb was active to your sims' household you could adjust his vampire weaknesses and I would suggest removing withered stomach and put the perk point into either vampiric sadness or fitful sleep(Fitful Sleep would be the better bet, if you don't want your vampire other having fits of sadness) and your sim would more or less have the proper date with him as planned. Since Caleb has the "Good Vampire" Vampire trait, he will less likely want to feed on his wife as often as he needs too, and the quickest way for Caleb to get what he needs for his thirst is by plasm packs, but if you are low on funds and can't even afford a plasm fruit tree, he'll need to be in top level Vampire lore skill and the fishing skill so that he can go fishing or collect amphibians to make large inventories of plasm packs or you can use the Ranch Nectar making vat to make larger amounts of bottled plasma nectar(if you have a supply of plasma fruit ready to add from your inventory) I found that Plasma Nectar has more satiating potency for a vampire's thirst. For some reason, Plasma supply has different potency levels in it's many different forms: Plasma fruit juice box:15-25%; Fizzing Juice: 6-8%; Plasma Fruit: 10-15%; Plasma Packs: 27-52%; Plasma Nectar:68-76%(the Lower ratings in each potency scale are estimations for the Vampire Weakness traits' dynamics that affects vampiric thirst and the Vampiric energy fulfillment rate effected by the vampire's consumption habits); I don't really know the precise estimation between Vampire weakness related amounts; But, I hope I am close in my estimation.
