In a world of B Movies, two men are hitting the road in search of the most perfect of all the imperfect flicks Join Lamar and Joe each week on the Perfect Turd Podcast as they breakdown and review B-Movies, talk to filmmakers, and share stories.
Why am I listening to a guy who made a fake documentary claiming that Face Off is an evil show even though he is the real dilusional one because he’s as dumb as a sack of rocks I have no respect for Joe Castro AT ALL
Excellent interview with the legendary Charles Band. The Full Moon story behind the labor of love that made this movie possible, makes this movie a rarity. Great insights from a man who knows what he's talking about. Also, how amazing is it to watch a completely "new" movie from the 90's? In a world full of cold CGI overload, this film is a reminder that some directors and producers actually enjoy making their art. BRAVO! Perfect Turd & Full Moon, Bravo!
Like common they have ben trying to do this garbo for years now and thats. Also y the cgi is dated asf if they didn't waste the 70 precent on movie cast mayb would b good also made thw movie hour and 20 with higher budget there has Ben good star trek fan series etc story great bad bad very bad cgi it is godawful too look at tbh

Hey guys. Just found this review. Glad you had some fun with it and am happy to see folks are still watching it over a decade later. Just wanted to let you know we actually shot primarily in South Florida and a little bit on the Treasure Coast. The driving scenes were primarily Martin County. The beach scene with the seniors was split between multiple beaches including North Palm Beach County and St Lucie County (that one was tricky to put together). The crazy girls mansion was a waterfront location we rented in Jupiter. Missy's dad's house was in Northwest Palm Beach County. As was the bar... Which was built for our shoot on a private residence. - Mike Hoffman (Producer/Writer/Co-director). PS - I had no idea Richie now owns a brewery. I will definitely have to check it out all these years later. I am still friends with some of his faculty from Full Sail. It felt good to actually have you think we were near Daytona. We put a lot of work into dressing all of the vehicles and such with the county logos etc.
Cool thanks for the info, we definatly enjoyed the movie. We saw it at home and then went to Richard's brewery to watch it at their movie night. Alot of fun
Oh. Wow. Movie was definitely made to enjoy with beer. I'm glad to hear he enjoys it enough to show it. He definitely was a savior! Lol. He used every single light that was on his truck and trailer to light that bar scene. Our camera was super low light (like 80 iso) as we were using a 35 mm adapter for cinema lenses. He really made it shine.
@@PerfectTurdPodcast I’ve seen much worse. It wasn’t amazing my any means but I don’t feel like I wasted an hour and a half. Pretty decent. That being said, I don’t expect much from a zombie movie. Just has to hit certain marks and I feel like this one succeeded in that. Thanks for the recommendation.
What if, to make it more complicated for Lamar, the zombie festival opened up a portal to the past and time traveled to the Night of the Living Dead and stopped it all from ever happening.
@@brianzfandom2151 That is actually a really good question we'd have to go back and figure that out. Our old format before the five category system definatly had more discrepancy in our ratings
By the way, a lot of the horror community on Twitter has been talking up the Tubi original "Lowlifes" as the best movie they've done so far. Haven't seen it myself yet but you guys might wanna give that a go at some point to see if it's better than Festival.
Very nice tribute gentlemen. 👏 No one ever knows that the decisions they make at the beginning of their project/career can have such a long lasting impact affecting so many people. Roger Corman's decisions certainly did.
What do you want me to do? Get a ladder and go up in there? Freaking hysterical as hell. If it was me, id quit my job and live in that big thing of hers.
This was wild in an audience. I thought it was maybe too over the top as I became numb to it but the crowd went crazy over it. I hope people tey to steal this style but this was some solid laughs
Just when the 100s of ITN and associates films were all stinking after suckering us in frim cool conceots and great posters they finally do it..people wont believe it till they see it. It's not great but on comparions to what we have come to expect wow I was pleasantly surprised
