This channel is dedicated to bringing you the soundtracks from the Nancy Drew game series! Channel is in no way affiliated with Her Interactive and I do not own any of the music on here.
I’m just saying it, all of y’all in these comments are my honorary siblings because we all share the same bond of loving Nancy drew so much that we all chose to come here years later to listen to this 1 minute and 7 second song tans feel so moved that we all felt the need to comment the peace and nostalgia these memories bring. We all have different memories of playing Nancy drew but one this that we all share is that these games are very near and dear to our hearts.
me and my brother used to joke that mary yazzie was somewhere out in the desert just shredding (since this one only plays off the ranch) good times lol
Ive been coming back to this soundtrack since I was a kid playing this with my mom. Reminds me of home and living in the midwest. Wish there was a longer version
I beat Haunted Carousel for the first time this year and I gotta say, Daryl is defintely the track I remember the most. It does a perfect job at capturing the vibe of this game.
I adore how creepy the soundtrack of this game is and how it’s used to elevate the mood story-wise. You’re out in the middle of nowhere, in the frozen wilderness, in a resort where dangerous accidents have been happening, and there’s a wolf that howls right before those accidents happen. Playing this game as a young kid on the Wii, hearing the music always made me feel that someone was watching me… and the fact someone or something was causing accidents doesn’t help it all that much. Something scary could happen at any time… Even just listening to this makes me feel unsettled.
I'm pretty sure it's not used in the game because the credits mention the violinist and the cellist who did those tracks, but they don't mention the pianist. I wonder what they originally wanted to do with this?
Replayed this game recently and couldn't help but think that so much effort was put into this terribly underrated game. The Haunted Carousel has a fascinating storyline, how the history of the amusement park gets slowly unraveled, pieces of history just reemerging in the present. It's almost like going back in time, reading those old letters by Rolfe Kessler and looking at the park in his perspective instead of Nancy's.
