Ridhima, Annual surveys are done for the background activity with whatever sources are there at the time of survey. Suppose Gallium generator or Technitium generator is kept or iodine is kept, just mention in your report that with this much of source was lying at this was the dose rate in mR/h and in dpm. Mention the area on approved map as well to clarify from where, which dose is coming. Please feel free to call me on 9769571761 Dibya
You can go to department and work there as radiation worker with no major restrictions. You should just avoid working with iodine without fumehood. Otherwise everything as you do without pregnancy with no discrimination. Just monitor your waist dose with some digital pocket dosimeter.
@@NuclearMedicineSolutions I just visited three to four times for getting my mother's appointment and reports ....but I had contact wid one to two pts for just few minutes......will that cause any problem? I don't know whether those pts were injected or not?
We are really sorry for this but we can not comment on individual organisation norms and choices. The choice always remains with you, whether to continue with any organisation or not. All the best!

If you are from outside India, you can opt paypal payment method, else for India, there is manual payment option, where I will send payment link when you opt there. Once I confirm the receipt of payment, you will get instant access to the course.
Though I myself use PowerPoint as am comfortable in that. But draw.io is very good software for the need which you specified. You can try that and it's free as well.
Hello Meriem, thank you for the question.. Pl note that the amount of radioactivity needed in point os spot will be slightly more than well counter method.. After acquiring the strip(s) image of 1-2 mins, till you get visible spot..you can check for the counts in the impurity zone and purity zone by drawing region of interest ..(same area in both zones)... The percentage of impurity can be quantified using these counts Once orientation is correctly identified.. If possible with a marker as small drop of activity in the needle cover) another image is taken.. By default single spot in the purity zone can be taken as QC pass If two strip chromatography is run one spot on each strip in the opposite (purity zone ) indicates QC pass.
I have a question regarding capillary blockade, is the radio labeled compound injected to Find a blockage in the capillary, example emboli?…or is it injected to cause blockage of the capillaries to reduce blood flow to lungs etc
Hi Fatima.. it is to identify the blockage.. the former.. Actually the radiopharmaceutical will simulate the emboli.. as they get trapped in the region and can also be visualized because of the radioactive part which send the signals to the detection system
Sir .... I just want to know what should be the distance between Residential building to Nuclear Medicine Facility ( only PET-CT) according to the AERB.
Am not an AERB official, but as per my knowledge, there is nothing written as such. You should have access to survey the radiation on the other side of the wall. If access can not be granted, you should have an additional internal wall, so that you can take radiation on wall outside PET-CT room. Dibya Prakash
Great video! Any chance you know of anyone in the US that can service the Atom Lab 500 Dose Calibrator Chamber? I have three of them that have low gas warnings and Biodex won't offer any support.
@@NuclearMedicineSolutions kindly make video on nuclear medicine scans bone scan Renal scan ( DTPA/DMSA) , Tc99m thyroid Scintigraphy, Hida scan, Merkel's divrticulum, Cardiac scan (myocardial perfusion Imaging, ) Nuclear reactor & Cyclotron. Isotopes produced by them. Kindly make informative session on these topics. Sir i Hope you will surely do the needful🙏
