You just saved my life. Thank you🙏😭📚🙌 I have been stuck on a homework problem, and my spine is on fire. Finals are this next week, and I am so tired. I don't know how, but just the way you presented this made it click, and helped me with my problem even though it wasn't exactly the same. Thank you!

Hi bill you should give Microsoft whiteboard a go for your classes and you could include The CAB rule when explaining completing the square so it’s easier for them to remember but excellent work we need more guys like you!

Will someone explain in example 2, why it's -2 instead of a +2 when getting towards the end of that problem? You're taking a postive 6 and minus 4, wouldn't that be a positive?

I believe you are referring to the video @ 7:38. I think you are correct that the numerator would be -10x + 2 rather than -10x - 2. With that change, you could then still factor out a -2, and the only thing that would change is the numerator in the final answer would read -2(5x - 1) rather than -2(5x + 1).
