I think the only reason I will never buy Travelers is because of the elastic strap being anchored at the back. It is a complete deal breaker for me. If they were ever to change that horrible feature, I'd definitely buy it. Until then, I am looking for comparable alternatives so this is really helpful. Thank you!
You’re so awesome !! 🤩. I’m looking back at your archives to help me resolve my dilemma as well. I think I told you before on another video post. I bought a travelers notebook , a hobomichi Avec. But now I realize I need the day structure from Franklin covey planner. Although ring binders are bulky , I am realizing the give me the freedom for note taking. Just ordered the plain refills for one year July 2024 they Jun 2025. I think what I will do is use the Franklin as my main planner and keep the travelers for exactly that. Travel journaling on my trips and as a travel organizer while on the trips. I have a passport size one to take on the go as well. Do I sound crazy 🤪? I’m looking back at all your archives for more helpful tips. Please know you make a big difference and impact to many people 😉
Do you feel any letter bending problem in some letter like s.g.y.r.j etc? handwriting is worse in goodnotes conpare to notability and apple notes,,is any setting i can off ?
I never really liked the Franklin convey. What I do is I take an 8 by 11 card stock and fold it into fourths, and then stick 5 sticky notes in each quadrant. And then I label each quadrant based on what I need them for. Usually it’s top left is recommendations and notes for school, top right is to do/tasks, bottom left is grocery list/things to buy, and bottom right is miscellaneous. I like it because the system conforms to me, I don’t conform to it. And I can fold it and stick it in my pocket easily

Just a note that Franklin Covey has a "year" bi-folded page that I put in the back of my planner to write future appointments, etc. Then I only have to have 3 or 4 months in the binder and if an appt or "thing" comes up after those 3 or 4 months, I flip to the "year" and write it there. Then when I get that month into my datebook/planner, I look at the "year" page and transfer any appt. written there.
Well I just found you. Been binging your YT and buying on Etsy. I want to setup my pocket and personal ring luxe moterm but am having a hard time with printing cutting etc. can’t you just print them for me to buy pretty pleeaaasseeee

Can you upload or do another video with way more examples because you only show it for a flash of a second and I would just be much more helpful if you just staring directly at the content and did a voiceover

This presentation was excellent. Thank you. I have used the FC system for years, but since entering a much slowed down time of my life (husband now retired and me working very part-time), I really don’t have the time management pressure so much but still have tasks to do. I may take a look at the main elements of the GTD method and see if I can work out a hybridized system.
Using a Jibun Techo Days (LOVE IT), going to set up a pocket rings for EDC when it arrives. I have a 2023 Hobo Cousin I plan to use/redate for 2025. 😊❤
most people who use hobonichi weeks dont actually use it for planning. most use it for journaling. i love to journal but im actually too lazy to do it but journaling in the weeks makes it possible because of its size. but i do agree that the price is a bit off putting.
What did you have your blade set to? For some reason our blade kept cutting too deep or not deep enough and we got annoyed and haven’t touched the cricut in a year lol
8:00 the hobonichi websites recommends the weeks for memory keeping- I believe the biggest confusion in the planner community is using planners to plan vs selfcare journaling/logging - one requires the left brain and the other right brain or creative vs functional 🤓 so people looking for a functional planner tend to need structure with minimal decoration whereas the journaling youtubers need the lack of structure- if you have a job with tons of clients meetings, information will get lost in the noise- on the other side, no one wants a dull planner to journal
