Welcome aboard! We are Ms Barbara and Ricky. We travel in our RV full-time with our Bull-Lab, Kodi. We are learning, living, loving, laughing....and sharing, with you, the ups and downs along the way. We only have one regret...not transitioning to the RV lifestyle sooner. Through our videos and community posts, we share RV tips, tricks, hacks and upgrades. Product reviews and installations. Campsite tours and a lot of military RV FamCamp evaluations. Just about any topic related to this full-time RV lifestyle. Come aboard, as we follow our dreams to new and interesting places, both charted and uncharted. Always meeting old friends....for the first time! Fair winds and following seas!. Peace.
Ricky excellent video showing from install to live drive. I was considering this option, but kept hearing good pros and some cons. Sharing your real drive gave me confidence this is a good assist (I know there are no cure alls) to an all to common issue. Your installer Barry was great, down to earth and knew his product, hope he still is there! Thanks for the video!
nice job and thanks for the video, 2 minor things the filter turns to lock into the housing (you never did that) and why would you locktite that dump valve back in the aluminum housing! do not use locltite it will never come out
Thank you for making a good video. The last video I saw literally just hosed the a/c unit off from the outside. Also, why do they make the drip pans so small on RV's? I gotta go up there every other week to bleach the algae outta my system
Great content. Just finished cleaning my drip pan as you described… it was clogged & filthy! Used my 20v vac to clean the coils. No more dripping in my rv. Thanks so much for the how-to. ❤
I live off-grid and have found;- Anyone looking at a compressor DC fridge needs to look at the design, there are units with the condenser coils attached within the side walls passively cooled, those are "not great" and will need space and air movement around the sides, others have a condenser coil next to the compressor with a fan attached to it and others have the condenser coil on the back passively cooled, which is my favorite design but will need space and air movement at the back, running a DC fan aimed at where the condenser coils are using excess voltage during the day if you're running a solar setup helps the fridge heaps, if you're running a 24v system and the 24v is supplied to the fridge and your system can be up to 29.4v (some get a little higher) during charging, the electronics will last longer if you use some sort of regulator, most 12-24v DC fridges (I think, hard to find hard data) are natively 12v, I base this on the fact that the AC to DC power supplies that some come with some are 110v to 240v AC to 12v DC and I've seen some off-grid videos where they have used dc to dc regulators and noticed an improvement in reliability of their DC stuff.
Thank you for posting this video as it helped me very much because here I was sitting on my recliner enjoying my day off watching some TV when all of a sudden my feet got wet. I turned everything off started taking things apart and I couldn't figure out what it was until I started looking on RU-vid and came across your video and that's exactly what was wrong with mine. Once again man thanks for posting this video it helped me out tremendously and probably save me several hundred dollars.

I don’t think this video is showing the newest model of the Ready Brute Towbar. The original Ready Brute Towbar model was without a doubt the best towbar produced. Now they have redesigned it. My original model Ready Brute towbar wore out after 150,000 miles and the company rebuilt it to the newest model. Fair enough. I made one trip with the new model (June 2024) took it off the motor home and it is now in the scrap iron pile. I purchased a new Blue Ox which is better than the new Ready Brute model but not near as good as the original model. If they still made the original model, I would buy one in a heartbeat. See my video "Ready Brute Towbar Review"
Your videos are very informative. I believe I have the same problem on my refrigerator as you by chance do you have the contact information for that cooling unit where I can get it I would highly appreciate it. Thanks for all of your videos.
Lmao great editing and video. I got the dreaded code. I just finished resetting it with the jumper. Hoping that fixes it, but if not, this video gives me the confidence I needed that I can replace the cooling unit myself. Thanks for a clear and completely video, you really covered every base it seems. 🤙🏻🙏🏻
I’m confused as to why you chose all the extra work of running independent 12v wiring to the batteries when you could have just used the existing wires, can you explain your rationale?
Great video, nice detail and we literally have that exact same blue towel, lol. I think I'll use it when I clean our drip pan just for the sake of it. Thanks
I just saw an ad for keytruda last night and thought of you, hope the immunotherapy helps. You should get with a pain management doctor to manage the pain meds. Im taking the boost high calorie x 4 a day, because i lost over 20lbs. Im in the 140s which I haven’t been since i was 14. Awesome seeing your son on the video, we came home for treatment so we could be near the kids, the support really helps the healing. We hope to catch up with you guys at some point this winter. We will be watching the updates, love you guys. (Love the birds in the background) Larry
