Hi, you will probably need a place of residence for your visa. Having a place to stay most of the time is a requirement for obtaining your visa. Most landlords and booking platforms understand this situation and have cancellation policies in place to return your payment for causes like not obtaining a visa. This shouldn't avoid you from securing a good accommodation now☺.
