Moulin Blues Ospel is Holland's biggest and most renowned blues- & rootsfestival.
It was organized for the first time in 1986 and has since become one of the leading blues stages in Europe. Every year during the first weekend of May, thousands of bluesminded people find their way to Ospel, in the south of The Netherlands. Over the years, Moulin Blues has featured numerous legendary blues artists such as BB King, Buddy Guy, Bo Diddley, Los Lobos, Koko Taylor, Robert Cray, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Jonny Lang, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Lester Butler and many, many more...
I hate dylan, i hate young... these horrible dirt hippies.....but ouah Pokey is for me a god of real music i love..the style he has in every thing is so cool and he his mine too...i'm french and in this century where people are dressed like nothing..he is just a light in my life....!!!! Bravo pour votre style Mr Lafarge!!!!
Been listening for a few years now. Just took this long to say something. But I really like this Davy Knowles version, but if you haven't heard his jam Gotta Leave, you need to watch the live version from Clearwater Sea Blues Festival.
My friend, Danny Lancaster, was in a band with Sam before he met Anson. I think Danny introduced them. I’ve heard some cool stories about Sam playing on Farrish St. in Jackson, Mississippi. 💙🎸😎
How could it take 7 years to find this? Amazing! The good taste made the cover better than the original! And what a killer bass player!!! Thanks brothers! Congratulations!!!
I recommend Nick to Ronnie Dawson and the kid just took off! He was so talented. I can hardly get through listening to any of his songs without coming apart. Damn I miss you Nick.
Very clean performance. They don't cover this super song with personal Exaggerates. I put it number 2 after Bruce springsteen even better then most of prince performances.
The greatness of America is we can still assemble relatively unknown talent of this extreme caliber on a single stage. Did these cats just fly in from outer space?
