I'd argue that Temperature Screening and Detection helps to keep our communities safe during the Coronavirus outbreak. Avigilon's solutions are highly secured to ensure that only authorised personnel gain access. You don't need to worry about the security of these solutions :)
There are some manufacturers in the industry with sub-standard products that are thought to be contributing to human rights abuse, but Avigilon isn't one of them. The products from Avigilon are rock solid, both in hardware and software.

@@Avigilon I spoke with an Aviligon tech and he told me to pull the plug and closed out the ticket. I doubt that's the correct way to shut down an appliance with a hard drive.
@@Karguy4545 Hi Edward, we've checked with our technicians and our support is correct. Unplugging the device is the correct way to power down the appliance.
For some budget applications (primarily indoors) 1.3MP is actually reasonable enough when you've got a decent sensor and optics to back it. It's however not good enough when you're selecting a cheaper camera, that's when you really want higher resolutions to combat the lack of decent optics.
@@MJAPlumbingandHVAC Yes, but remember the SL line has no advanced analytics only motion detection (and unusual motion detection). SL stands for Sensor Line. I would recommend the H5A camera line for rich analytics when combined with Avigilon Control Center software.
