Story are... Danish PM announces that the government have bought 4 elephants (from a circus to avoid them being neglected-ish) and that she are happy that all parties in the parliament have agreed on this rather odd purchase and further that the deal now seem to have a bonus included, a camel named ALI. Then expresses her gratitude that the far right anti immigrant party, that usually are rather reluctant towards most named "ALI" did not jump from the deal because of that. The camel were best friend with one of the elephants and it thus were another "welfare" regard to accept the bonus camel Ali on top. Maybe many elephants in Asia but I am pretty sure the Danish government are only in Europe that can say they own 4 elephants.....and a camel named ALI. 🤣

Actually some already have! Just that they are sitting in Danish local councils, board associations etc. My hometown received 84 Tamil refugees from Sri Lanka in 1986. They saw democracy is much more than just the parliament, and went for it, so to speak. Could also be that our Tamils just listen to HM the Queen? She says: Democracy is not something you get, and then you just have it. Democracy is something you have to work for EVERY day. We've got one Tamil in the local counsil (it takes 800+ votes to get a seat), but they are also active in the sports clubs, in the unions, student's associations, in ngos and what have you. All small democratic units we meet in our daily life. And they influenze the bigger ones, that influeze the big ones. So thank you Sri Lanka for contributing so wonderfully to our society!
The elephant's former owner essentially scammed the government into buying a sick camel (so he wouldn't be stuck with the vet bill or have to put it down) by claiming it was BFF with Ramboline.
Imagine if she made that joke by the end in the US 😮😂 I truly think that's one of the reasons danes are seen as one of the happiest and most chill countries - the ability to laugh over a joke, even if it's actually kinda racist (lol), because that's exactly why it's funny, and you know what...
