Spooky and Comfy is a channel that features the best and newest horror games with no commentary. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the games.
I feature mostly PC games from Steam and Itch.io which is a platform where many creators release a lot of new indie games and free games. If you just want to watch games without the usual reaction channels, this is for you! Welcome to all horror gaming fans!
Make sure to check out my review site linked on my channel as well! Please let me know if you have any game suggestions as well. Feel free to leave a like and a comment on my play-through's if you enjoy my content. I really appreciate it! See more reviews on the Indie Games Jam website:
Only thing that disappointed me about this was the ex-mortis that came at you in the tunnel. They didn't look scary. They looked like little lemurs coming at you.
Thanks for this experience bro and a very spooky month of October, today I went back to my childhood enjoying this great game and 100% thanks to you! Blessing Bro <3
@lautarogomez9711 Basically an urban Explorer finds an abandoned factory and his friend is supposed to meet him there. However he never shows. The facility is actually an overrun destroyed lab that was hidden by the government making creatures supposed to help agriculture. They went rogue and killed all the scientists tho and threaten the globe. Your friend was killed by them and you unleash them upon the world
@@SpookyComfy Unfortunately, this is the case. I just did a little research and found that the author deleted a lot of his old projects because he didn't feel they were up to par with the new ones he is working on. It's a shame, but at least I found a few games with a similar theme and setting. Thanks for your attention!!!
there is a special place in my heart for this trilogy, i just love the story, the atmosphere, design and all the little references it has. Im really a fan of how, even though they wiped out most of humanity in the span of a few years, the exmortis horde and even higher ups like the hand of repose can be killed through regular means like fire power, my theory is that, the main reason humanity lost, apart from being taken by surprise, is that they were extremely outnumbered, i like to think the exmortis horde is made up of all of the people who have ever died up until the invasion, so the invasion mustve been something like 4 billion fight-ready humans (somewhat capable adults with a will to fight) against billions and billions of undead, in an article its said that nukes dont work on the exmortis, but what i think happened is that even after they managed to nuke and kill millions of the horde, there were still billions ready to keep on fighting.
Secrets not shown: Your character will quip that the picture that fell when first entering suddenly is hung back up again after returning to the main hall as strange Mr. Lochear’s missing pages at the end of the diary are by his corpse in the kitchen at the corner of the table; it mentions his final actions mercy-killing his family before committing suicide just as the Exmortis came Most of the corkboard’s newspaper clippings can be interacted with to view in detail the news articles
This game really scared me when I was young. I remember I couldnt sleep for 4 nights and had nightmares with it. I had to wait like 3 years to play it again.
One of the best games ever made. Ben Leffler is Australian, but the games' settings are in the USA. Exmortis 1 takes place deep in the woods of the midsouth, possibly Tennessee or Kentucky, Ex2 is set in the Midwest and Ex3 is a large city on the West Coast, most likely Los Angeles. The demon horde not only appeared like storms, but moved like a weather front. When they first emerged somewhere in the Midwest it was like a band of strong thunderstorms, then moved up the California coast, indicated by cities of "San Raimi" (well played Mr. Leffler), and Palo Alto, gaining strength like a hurricane until it swept across the whole world.
Thanks for rekindling that memory. I think they based the game on Trauma Center that released a couple years earlier on the DS. Regardless, it's a unique take!
what’s horrifying about the game is that (i think) the creator made the game based off a similar experience that happened to him, showing that this might happen to people irl as well
Holy shit I didn’t know what I was looking but the moment I saw the eyeball from the sink it hit like a freight train. This game made me so scared I mentally blocked from my mind.
Whats the sound effect that plays when the image of the intruder with bullet whole in his head appears Edit: I dont know why but it intrigues me for some odd reason. Could be the avante garde musician within me
As gun ownership is common in the United States, it is presumed that criminals had weapons in addition to knives. In the circumstances, it seems that the mother took what he left behind when the criminal urgently stopped the rape and left after hearing the audio sound. Although he is not directly depicted carrying a handgun, in reality, a knife is much easier for a criminal to commit a crime quietly than a firearm with loud gunshots, so a knife would have been used for actual criminal acts, and if it had been a family member's gun, That's because you can stop criminals early on. And for home crime prevention purposes, rifles are usually preferred over handguns.
There's a few different ones, I can't remember but if you google you'll see. Like one will let you skip right to the end or something, another shows credits
I'm back everyone! My uploads might not be daily any more, but I'll still be showing the best games from itch.io. Ritual has the classic PS1 aesthetic I love with plenty of fun endings.
