I love the build, you did a great job on it! I just randomly stumbled across your channel through your molly60 Video. I'm sorry about the keyboard. I had a similar problem with my zoom75. My hotswap socket fell off but luckily soldiering it back on fixed the issue. But I just wanted to say the music you play on these videos and the editing is top tier! I had to subscribe. I also love your honesty please keep up the great work and I cant wait to watch more of your videos in the future!
You didn't just follow through on a quality build and a well-edited video, but you provided your honest, unfiltered experience without being toxic! Super helpful and informative and an entertaining watch!
@@mkeeby I completely understand! Trust me! Every board and switch I've ever posted was purchased by me. Stay at it. With quality videos like this, you can post just about any product and get positive feedback! Start trying switches or keycaps! Don't have to do new boards. Either way, quality content for sure! Thanks for taking the time to respond! I know that's not always easy
Man, the board sounds nutty as hell. But, that's an omega oof on the atrocious coating there. Normally, I would justify the sloppy finish for the price, but we have the likes of kbdfans, qwerty keys, and meletrix offering boards with superb level of coating for a similar price.
👀👍! really sad to see how the board turned out, NLandkeys quality control have been known to be not very good, and KeebsForAll are also known to take absolutely forever to ship out the group buys that they run on their website. The board sounds great though!
Yours was in way worse condition than mine. I got the Paris pink and the coating was very textured but it didn't have anything wrong with it . Also I got FR4 plate and had none you that hairy looking stuff. Least your still sounds nice.
that's unfortunate, the quality of the finish ruins any positive of the board. I really wanted this board but missed the GB but now I don't mind missing it too much. thank you for the review.
Accent keys sound a little hollow without any foams, alphas sound nice though. I think no case with with plate and pe is best sound profile personally.
I have this same keyboard, but after taping it, my keyboard lights changed from this beautiful rainbow pattern/color to only an orange. Any ideas as to what I did wrong and what I could do to have it go back to how it was?
Could be a couple different things. Try changing the settings of the rgb through the board shortcuts. If that doesn’t work, then maybe the tape did something? I’m not quite sure
Hi, keyboard noob here, are the durock v2 stabilizers better than the cherry screw-ins? And can I switch between different stabilizers once the keyboard has been built? Thanks!
yeah durock v2 stabs are generally better than cherry screw-ins, although its not too huge of a deal. its fairly simple to switch between the different stabs once built, all you have to do is unscrew the board and then unscrew the stabs from the pcb, and screw everything back together
Wait so the entire assembly is just kinda sandwiched together by the top and bottom case with only those foam layers in between? Still a bit boring given how saturated the market is with foam boards but 120 for a 2 piece cnc alu case with pvd stainless weight plus carrying case, daughterboard and all those foams is kinda unreal. Would be nice for some of these budget boards to also include solder pcb option but ig it's not a huge deal.
