Join us at the Natural History Museum of Utah, a museum as dramatic as the wonders it holds. We illuminate the natural world and the place of humans within it.
Get on with it already, no one cares about your staff and never will if you don't learn what your audience wants. Put all the bio info in links below. And set up a digital tour and create hundreds of short videos that highlight your most interesting holdings.
I was hoping to view the new dinosaur 🦕 findings. I realize you want to thank everyone for support. The viewing is more important!!! Thank you for your work and dedication.
When it comes to pictures of flowers, please also take one from the side. The side view will also aid in the identification. Pics of leaves from the top are good, but getting a few of the bottom of the leave is great! Finally please take a pic of the stem too. Multiple angles will capture more details. For small plants placing a small ruler or a known object (like a dollar bill or coin) next to the object will help determine the size of the structures. Good pics leads to good identification. Over time you will become a pro at identifying the plants in your area.
A "pest" is an unwanted animal in the same way that a "weed" is an unwanted plant. Some people consider any rodent in human spaces to be a pest, whether they are native or introduced. Many introduced species, like fox squirrels, house mice, and brown rats, thrive in human spaces; moreso than many native species. So, you could say that these species have evolved to cohabitate with humans, but they are only considered a pest if people don't want them around. Many people love the fox squirrels and would not consider them pests, but it remains that they have adapted to live in urban environments around people.
Ancient books tell us that a cycle of natural disasters threatens the earth and all living things. The cause of this cycle of disasters is a ninth planet in our solar system orbiting the sun in an eccentric orbit. Features of the natural disaster include a massive tidal wave, higher than the highest mountain, flooding, storms, rain, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes and a fiery asteroid bombardment. That planet is surrounded by a gigantic cloud of dust and meteorites. That cloud obscures the atmosphere, pollutes the water and covers the whole planet Earth with that dust. At the end of the crossing of this planet 9, the earth is covered with a horizontal layer of wet mud, a mixture of sand, clay, lime, fossils of sea and land animals, shells and the deposit of that dust cloud and asteroids. So in every layer on our planet we will find material of the same antiquity, perhaps many millions of years old: the deposit of extraterrestrial clay and meteorites. Even in the youngest, topmost earth layer, which is less than 6,000 years old. If you don't know about this cycle, you have no idea how our history has evolved. To learn much more about planet 9, the recurring flood cycle and its timeline, the re-creation of civilizations and ancient high technology, read the e-book: "Planet 9 = Nibiru". It can be read on any computer, tablet or smartphone. Search: invisible nibiru 9
What an outstanding opportunity to learn from folks who have dedicated enormous amounts of time researching these incredible animals in our distant past. So many terrific nuggets of information here!
Any news? Did you find out something already? Is it possible, that they had some kind of airsacks at the horn to support the nose system pumping air into the horn? Like frogs for example? :D
Who chose the music for this. 😅😅 Also, in an ad, you tease the product (like maybe a little narration of what people can expect to discover) not just show bad, drawn out, shots of it. Lol Luckily for you the Egyptians already did enough marketing themselves. ...I'll be going to see it!
Okay… I realllly didn’t want to click on this video but I did. Then I listened as best I could. You want to better the water for rivers in Utah? Ask for more rain. Brown trout are not native. The cutthroat (Bonnys) are no longer native, or natural, but farmed and mainly out of little dell. Yes dams cause a problem for spawning travelers like salmon, but in Utah? If there was a problem jordanelle should have never been dammed. The roads don’t obstruct these non native fish because there is a bridge over the waterway, duh? What is the point of this video?? I LOVE fly fishing, but I cannot stand the “purists.” This is clearly a fly fishing video and not a Utah waterway issue video.
