I'm using the Wk-Kyro1 sabers, and the mod to show score is called HitScoreVisualizer (I'm guessing that's the one you meant) All the mods and models I use are also linked in the description 😁
Out of any level I've had the pleasure of playing in Beat Saber, _this_ one is my favorite. It looks good in 2D, but if you have VR, I _urge_ all of you to play it yourselves. There are no words to describe how stunning this level looks with Chroma and Kaleidoscope. That second beat drop is genuinely mesmerizing in VR, and at times it's actually a bit hard to stay upright, but good _God._ It's so worth it.
bro this video slaps the quality is so sharp. i cant believe you can fc that ending bc that ending always got me missing . can I ask for your general obs settings while recording runs for this game? I've been trying to perfect it for a long time.
Thanks. I pretty used to streams like the ones in the end, but it was the tech part before that I struggled with 😅. Anyway, when it comes to recording settings, I'll paste the same thing I told someone else. Just remember that there are many factor that affect quality and performance, and you can check out my full comment on this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-A_GPnVmQ5sY.html In OBS settings, under Video, it's best if image size matches your monitor (for me its 2560x1440), and your fps shouldn't need to be any higher than 60. Under Output is where most settings are set, and since I'm recording and not streaming, I choose the Recording tab. I record in the mkv format, but if your editing software doesn't support it, you can go to: File > Remux recording to convert the recordings into mp4 afterwards. Since I have a newer Nvidia GPU, I can choose NVENC as the encoder. For Rate Control I chose CQP. Then for actually changing the quality of recording, you can either change: QC Level, or Preset, which I've set to 25 and P4: Medium (Medium quality). Just remember that lower QC Level means higher quality. Lastly, you can easily check if your recordings are skipping frames by going to: View > Statistics.
@@brunost7181 bro thank you I am definitely trying these out on some of my plays👍👍👍 I'm gonna dare and put the fps higher than 60 and just hope my gpu is good enough for it. But ofc if it isn't then 60 is always there fore me 🗣
Wow... played well, man! Of course, it may seem that it is not very professional, but what kind of ordinary viewer will peer into the results, right? Well, if I'm wrong, then I'm sorry. In general, I wish you to enter the top of those very rabid Beat Saber players (unless, of course, you are already among such lol) and just continue to do what you like. I understand that now you won’t get many subscribers for Beat Saber’s content (and even views), but I think this is not so important, because you will still have a small and still some kind of fan base. (Your progress surprised me quite a bit, really, don’t give up!)
Thank you so much. I usually just play casually yeah, but I still like playing ranked some times. And yeah, my channel is mostly just for documenting my progression and the maps that I make, so I don't really care about views, though it's exciting when I get some. ❤❤
Amazing video, however, I have a couple questions. What recording software do you use? Because whenever I use OBS my game, kinda glitches? Like, fps is lowered, saber trails are longer etc. im sure u had it happen to you before. Only way to fix is to use Streamlabs and lower my in-game quality, however it won't look as good as your video. I have a decent PC, RTX 3060 with an i5 10th gen and 64 gb of RAM, so I don't see why this could be happening. I would PREFER it to reach 120 fps like your video however I'm fin with 60 if that's the highest I can do. If you use streamlabs or OBS, what are your settings on either? And in-game settings as well?
Yeah making both the game and recording look good took some tweaking. Before changing the your game and recording settings, here are some things to know. 1. Your VR headset also might impacts perormance a lot, with things like resolution and framerate. 2. Be aware of screen resolution. At least Steam has a setting for changing the resolution scale. This might make your experience clearer, but won't change how the recording looks, and is very performance heavy. My recomendation here is to just keep it on automatic. 3. Meta headsets run better in Oculus mode. If you have Beat Saber on steam, you can launch it from the Meta software, which lets you skip having to use steam. This can be done by right clicking Beat Saber in Steam, clicking Properties, and then typing "-vrmode oculus" into the launch options. In game, the only things that should matter is resolution scale and antialiasing, which I've set to 1.4x and off. I've also turned on fullscreen, and turned off things like particles, shockwaves and distortions. In OBS settings, under Video, it's best if image size matches your monitor (for me its 2560x1440), and your fps shouldn't need to be any higher than 60. Under Output is where most settings are set, and since I'm recording and not streaming, I choose the Recording tab.
