Really appreciate the way you reviewed this, happy to get a feel for the atmosphere along with your opinion - I'm used to watching only brief parts of game or film reviews to avoid unnecessary reveal!
Just to add: It does look like some (if not all) of the post-launch DLC's are included in the XBox version...but (and this is a huge "but") our version has been completely stripped of local and online leaderboards. Not so bad if you're simply looking for a 'won and done' 1000g but a massive disappointment if you're looking for similar levels of longevity displayed in other pinball games.....
I completely agree. I got a review code for this game couldn't play it for morr than an hour before getting frustrated and eventually rage quitting. Its so disappointing because the trailer made it looks really fun!
I just booted up the free trial and noticed there's no invert Y option. A simple thing usually included yet it's left out of this one. Another game I own, No Son of Mine, left out that option and because of that I still haven't been able to enjoy that one. I requested that option be added in for No Son of Mine and dev said they would send the request to the publisher but it hasn't been added. I've taken Terminal 81 off my wishlist, can't enjoy it without that.
I liked - despite the intro song. In the early days of the Internet, so many websites would have a landing page - like a door, a big reveal - but it quickly became a turnoff. You never see them now. While an intro can be neat fro branding etc., I think they're best kept brief i.e. 5 seconds and then a long outro if you really want that in there. People will likely skip an intro but listen to an outro when they've got what they want - you can also put text in the outro e.g. future vids or mentions of people etc. Thanks for review.
Everyone that leaves a comment, put there names in a bucket and choose or use “RU-vid random comment picker”! I would love a chance at that awesome game. Look forward to more content
