I tried playing this on my Enya Carbon Fibre guitar but because the frets are limited and one missing I couldn't reach the top end but I see you apply a different method and get the same sound, thank you for that I can now play it on my Enya.
Some of the lessons I do for TG are as ear training exercises. Most guitar students need to get much better in this area. Lessons that start like this are always completely explained in detail over the multiple segments. Let me teach you to fish... Neil
I half went out of my mind tryling to figure this out back in the 60's and finally figured out that it was played on one guitar. I took me quite a while to put it together, but I finally did it. You're nailing it right here on this video. Wish I had this back then, but then what would be the fun and challenge of figuring it out. Marc T.
Hi Neil, I purchased for $6.97 the lesson for Alone Again Or, yesterday. I am signed into my account, but I don’t see the lesson anywhere. I see the free preview, but not the in depth lesson I purchased. Your site, on the member page, is difficult to navigate…
Please send a message to our staff support@totallyguitars.com Alternatively hit the 'Help' link at the top of every page, then 'Contact' to send them an email. Neil
Yes, I’m logged in, but I don’t see my username in the “upper right”. And the “Help” link is useless. It’s just a general info video, not specific to my issue. Why so complicated? I was hoping you would just send a link to my lesson. It’s been days now, playing arums with this…
If you don't see your username in the upper right corner, you are not logged in. When you hit the Help link there is a Contact link that is on the next page.
I was logged in, with my username and password, when I made the purchase. And I received an email receipt confirming my purchase. Now, however, I do not even see a sign-in window, to sign back in. Can you at least send me a link here, or by email, that will take me directly to the member sign-in page? The site is very confusing, everywhere you look there are upsell promotions. I thought I would start by purchasing just one song, that I am particularly interested in. Please at least send me a direct link to where I can sign back in. Thanks!
I have been teaching guitar as my livelihood for over 50 years, and it is my only job. I assume you get paid for your job? A membership to TG is around $25 a month for complete access to around 2000 song lessons. That is less than half of what a single guitar lesson would be anywhere in the country. We think it is quite a bargain. Neil
@@TGAcousticLessonsDon't worry Neil I've been gigging for 10+ years and your free videos helped me out for years before I played my first gig. You've been doing this a long time, don't sweat the frustrated beginners. I was actually just looking to find a cool acoustic COVER of Blue Sky and just clicked on your vid cause I recognized the channel and wanted to come say thanks for all the years you helped me without knowing when I was a beginner 🤘 Hope you're doing well Neil
That is mentioned in the lesson, and we have another lesson on Gordon's original. PP&M added a lot of interesting things to their arrangement. Gordon's was really basic.
To bad this dude is greedy! He could of had millions of subscribers if he just showed how to play the song , but no i have to charge everyone , DOUCH BAG
Sorry you feel that way but I make my living teaching guitar, and have been doing it for over 50 years. It is my only job, and I imagine you get paid for your job?
Fun stuff Neil! I've covered JT "Thick as a Brick", "Skating Away", "Locomotive Breath", "Bungle in the Jungle", "Rainbow Blues", and a pretty weak attempt at "Living in the Past". Apart from that song, "Take Five" (Brubeck), "Mission Impossible" theme, and Yvonne Elliman's "Everything's Al'right" (Jesus Christ Superstar), almost NO songs in 5/4 timing have ever charted. I always loved "Back to the Family", but never learned it yet. Looks like a great lesson/package deal!
