I LOVE your backings except....you have the most unfathomable count-ins anywhere!!!!! I know I'm slow to catch on to things, but you make me work for that "One"!!!
Thanks for all the backingtracks! FWIW, I believe your Água De Beber solo section might repeat 8 bars too soon. Or at least is repeats letters A $ B, omitting letter C. What is notated in the real book (sixth edition) is "Solos repeat A,B & C".
Extraordinary tune which allowed a jazz guitar beginner player like e to have for a few minutes feeling he was improvising kind of OK on a piece of jazz. It's so encouraging, with such a beautiful piece. Thanks a lot. E. from France
Now and then I think of when his teeth were so small and white He laughed when he heard the songs in the distant night Later on his smile was gone, his lips spoke of silent things The least he could do was more than his life could bring Oh what a shame, what a terrible shame To be lost and found below the ground, beneath every child that play His life were so short, it's hard to believe today
Why can't you just sing in tune? If you can not sing in tune, get some lessons and build up. Autotune produces interesting sounds when its features are exxagerate in the mix, creating this robotic sound...not to fake what you can't normally do.
Thanks for the playalong! However the Realbook changes I know are a little bit different and more like the original: Dm | Dm b6 | Dm 6 | Dm b6 (or D7 b9) | Gm7 | Em7 b5 A7 alt | D maj7 | F maj7| Bb maj7 | A7 | Dm F7 | Bb7 A7 |
They should've kept the drum track the same throughout. It drags with that snare hit like that. I only play the beginning and the end on these "smooth" ones.
