All anti-fascists are more fascist than the fascists. It's there in the name. They think adding the anti in front of fascist is enough to fool everyone. Their actions, behavior and tactics fool no one.
15:59 Winston Churchill is a perfect example before WW2 he was one of the first (if not first) to test chemical weapons on people, the Kurds of modern Iraq and when asked about it he said “these people are savages (Kurds) and aren’t people”. Another time when a group of criminals were held up in a building and were in a shoot out with the police and one cop was shot dead, when the building they were in caught on fire (can’t remember how) Churchill stopped the fire brigade from putting the fire out and the criminals all burned to death or suffocated to death. So when WW2 came around England needed a man like Winston Churchill to fight Adolf Hitler not a Neville Chamberlain. It takes a cunt to fight a cunt and if England had Chamberlain remain as Prime Minister we might of surrendered to Hitler where as Churchill said on talking out a deal “I will not sit down with that man (Hitler)”
He should have had his hey day in the 70's.... That decade was all about dark storylines and grey areas. Imagine this guy in Apocalypse Now or 10 years later as a Bond villain. He made Garak on DS9 one of the most important characters on the show.
Harry didn't go over the line for his own ego, or because they didn't show him enough respect. He did what he did in pursuit of justice. Most people understand and want to to give cops some leeway when going after the "bad guy". But obviously they don't want to live in fear because you have bullies with a badge and gun Bottom line if your motives are good most people will give you the benefit of the doubt. Harry always had good motives.
The way that Andy transitioned from a professional extortionist to an absolutely insane maniac at the cross was very scary. “No no no no no no, don’t pass out on me now!” I believed that was his real nature and that blending in as a normal human being was when he was acting.
Hitler was a left wing authoritarian, people who call him right wing need to look up his politics. The guy was a socialist and fan of Karl Marx. Callahan is not a facist he's a cowboy fighting evil.
His lines and delivery took Dirty Harry to another level not seen before in film. It could have been a slightly more violent Coogan's Bluff without Andy Robinson, I didn't know some of those lines were his own idea. His acting, voice variation, lines and delivery in the cross scene is possibly the most terrifying depiction of psychopathy in movie history.
I believe, here in 2024, we are seeing the logical conclusion of a large group of society "believing" they have the sensibilities of a Harry Callahan. Not only are they trying to get rid the perceived criminal (sensibility of 1971), but also black people, South American people...OK, everyone that is not white and male and conservative. I love Callahan, like I love War-daddy in the movie Fury, however, at least War-daddy understood that there was little room for him in civilized society. We need him (War-daddy and Callahan) during war, but not during peace. Hard to square, I know, but figure it out because America is not at war unless this group puts us there, which would prove that they are truly the "fascists" every decent person expects they are. Book burning in Florida anyone? Magnum Force Callahan might be the antidote to the right wing (maga) running amuck.
Fact is cops & guns kill more people in the US than any other democracy in the world, twenty & more times over. That is the absolute failure of Dirty Harry & his mindless fans.
Protecting and Serving is a huge Myth.... The Law EnFORCEment community is there to gather evidence, detain, and investigate, and that is all..... The Police are NOT there to Protect The People..... The Supreme Court has stated the Law and the Role of the Police..... Now the Police view The People as :THEM" who, in fact, are We, The People..... PEACE Officers only exist in the world of Mayberry.....
