When you say to preach the gospel to someone who is on the phone, do you mean like someone who is on the phone texting? Or talking to someone on phone?
@@johnbates9946 Was your friend texting on the phone? Or talking to someone on the phone? Is it rude to interrupt someone who is talking to someone on the phone all because we want to preach the gospel to the person who is talking about someone on the phone?
@@Bentoto97 I was talking on the phone to my friend and he was telling about his new church and it was an open door so I just asked him is he was saved and to tell me about his salvation experience and what he though he had to do to be saved
This I believe strongly this is a dispensational sin. The scribes and Pharisees saw Jesus in the flash doing miracles. They knew that Jesus was the son of God. They didn’t know that he was using the power to Holy Spirit to do miracles look in John chapter 3, and it states that the Pharisees by what Nicodemus said they knew he was son of God so with that full knowledge with all of the evidence before their eyes, they still attributed Jesus’s work to a bad source, this was only mentioned in the context of when Jesus was performing miracles not in the context of anything else. Therefore, I believe strongly is a dispensational sin and that if someone’s see Jesus in the flash working with the power of God and they willingly attribute it to a unholy source, then they would be guilty of the unforgivable sin.

All believers are saved. Regardless of sin and even holding false doctrines. Many Catholics are saved because they believe. Even though they may hold a false belief. I don’t really know any denomination that teaches the universal salvation of all believers. Christianity seems to break up into exclusive groups. Salvation is inclusive of all believers.
In John 3:3-8 Jesus essentially says THREE times that we MUST be BORN AGAIN. This is not an apostle talking; this is JESUS, the Son of God, talking. A person cannot either believe or repent unless or until he or she has been born again. This is brought about solely by the Holy Spirit. So we all have/had as much to do with causing our spiritual rebirth as we had with causing our natural birth which was absolutely NOTHING.
Avoid You statements like that. If you say, “You’re wrong,” they immediately put the deflectors up and go on the defensive. Alternatively if you say something less second person and more third party-like “well the Bible says something different than that. Are you open to seeing what the Bible has to say?” then they will be much more open to what needs to be said
Great way to get the conversation going because it cuts straight to the heart of the matter. Unfortunately at the church I go to, or rather have to go to for convenience of location and scarcity of such a church, we try and start the conversation with a questionnaire and we get shut down so quickly by leaving too much room for quick denial.
I never knew you, not I used to know you but then you went off into sin. Great verses on eternal security. It is important to note that Freewill does not suddenly cease to exist following the point of salvation. The wages of sin, for believer or nonbeliever, is still physical death. The more any of us sin, the quicker we invite our own earlier, physical destruction. A sober warning indeed
Logically, the most loving God would, and in fact does, make salvation as easy as possible. Unfortunately man in his/her own conceit complicates it unnecessarily.
To be sure someone is saved, from our perspective, we can ask Believest Thou This? John 3:16, John 6:47, etc. Do you believe this? So then what do you have? And can you ever lose that gift for any reason whatsoever? And just give them the space and time to answer from either their circumcised or uncircumcised heart.
@@johnbates9946 I have no idea what you mean by this undeveloped thought. Let's notch it up to high-school graduate verbiage level, at least. Be blessed.
@johnbates9946 easy believeism is the heresy, and you really don't know what lordship salvation is I can tell what you repeat from some of those false teachers like Zane hodges and his 1983 theology.
@@timmysaxon-qe5of salvation is believing in your heart and calling on the name of the Lord, that’s it. If you add anything else to it then you are adding works to salvation
@johnbates9946 lordship salvation is the polar opposite of a work salvation. Lordship salvation teaches that there is no prepatory works or pre salvation reformation. An intellectual decision does not make one saved. The bible is clear on what it teaches about a true believer. Read John chapter 15, starting with verse 1. Don't skip around, but read the whole chapter. Obviously I can list so many scriptures that back this up, but it probably would be a waste of time. I'll tell you what astounds me more than anything I've ever heard from is that someone can say that you can have a relationship with God and a relationship with sin. If you're really saved, you will love the things that God loves and hate the things that God hates, and a submission to Christ's authority is unavoidable as a born-again believer.
I might disagree somewhat on the view of repentance. From what I've read in scripture, it appears to mean a "change of mind" from belief in something other than Jesus to save them (like works, works under Mosaic law, Buddha, etc), to belief in ONLY Jesus to save them. I think it's intended specifically for those who believe both Jesus and works save. The water baptism (ie. a mikvah) for the Jews was specifically to help them transition and change their mind from the Mosaic law to save them, to Jesus to save them.
The other problem is Lordship puts all post salvation success on you and not God. You try and conquer sin on your own and fail instead of believing in the power of God to overcome sin you put all that pressure on your human ability and deny the spirit. So sad, so true.
Do you know how you said in this video that soul-winners should go soul-winning for 4 hours per day and if not then 2 hours per day? If the weather outside is very hot and sunny starting from 1:00 PM till 5:00 PM for example then should soul-winners start going soul-winning at 3:00 PM or 2:00 PM? Is going soul-winning throughout a day only be cancelled if the weather is rainy and stormy?
@@johnbates9946 I want to know if it's okay for example to start soul-winning somewhere around 2:00 PM till 6:00 PM because if the weather is very hot and sunny at 1:00 PM till 5:00 PM then I wonder which time is the best time to go soul-winning and I wonder if I should start soul-winning at 2:00 PM in a very hot and sunny day or 3:00 PM in a very hot and sunny day till 6 or 7:00 PM.

Not sure what john bates is saying but what he is saying is reminding of a youtuber name pearl on youtube who tells people to go off and die . Seems pharisaical. And second this is the same youtuber I listen to months ago and went insane mentally and was in spiritual torment because of this very video he seems think and preach on people that GOD has no power to save but I believe this is a lie from hell reason why because unlike with john is preaching The Bible/ Word of GOD says different Anyone can be saved yes their hearts can harden so badly that they cannot be saved but john left out the MOST IMPORTANT PART he forgot to say is that you can only commit the unforgiveable sin only in death because blasphemy against The Holy Spirit is when you reject The Gospel of Jesus Christ all the way to death. Basically the individual NEVER believed in Jesus Christ alone His death burial Resurrection paid for all of their sins past present future sins . So they died unsaved and going to hell forever. but john tried to preach this same thing to me months ago and I almost commited suicide because of his preaching ( this topic here) I even tried to correct him on this topic on this video but he told me " that isn't right" Please to whoever watching please beware of preaching that contradicts what The Word of GOD says . I can't speak if john bates is saved or not but I can definitely tell you don't follow his teachings without first going to The Bible first to align it to see if he is telling the truth about The Word . Please go into prayer and ask GOD to send you someone that is in sound doctrine of The Bible and Biblically clear on The Word and please read for yourselves what it says Crazy part is that I knew he was wrong but I still continue to listen to his erroneous and heretic teaching because I wasn't strong in the Faith yet .
Sad teaching. Quite the opposite is true. Not only biblically, but also in practicality. The true fruit of the many once saved always saved churches is actually what we see today in society. A much later inventions thought up by Luther in the 1500's and tweaked by many in the 1900's. Work our your salvation with fear and trembling. Run your race to the end. Accepting the free gift of salvation is a by grace. Once you have accepted that God has expectations for sure. Stay on the narrow path. No one warned about hell more than Jesus. Read the gospels, read Paul, James, the letters to the churches in Revelation.
@@johnbates9946 for 1600 years that concept was completely foreign to Christians until a new interpretation by Calvin. @@NorCalTesting I won’t change my mind. Regeneration can’t be undone, a person only gets saved 1 time and they receive a gift (meaning it’s free with no payment plan) of everlasting life. @@johnbates9946 Read the early church fathers. Lots of early writings that we can learn from. We don't have to know what every person on earth thought. What to make of the story of the Prodigal Son and the Parable of the Sower?
@@NorCalTesting I have no interest in reading after the “early church fathers” because I read the word of god written by eye witnesses of the life of Christ. When it comes to the two parables, first I would say that we base our belief and doctrine on clear statements, not stories or parables. But the prodigal son never stopped being the father’s son. If a Christian disobeys all their heavenly father’s rules, they are still his child. When it comes to the parable of the sower, the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th examples include different types of responses to the word of God by people who get saved.
The Bible says that eternal life is in Christ. 1 John 5:11-12 says 11 And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. The Bible says that Jesus is eternal life. 1 John 5:20 says And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. The Bible says that eternal life is to KNOW the Father and Jesus. John 17:3 says And this is life eternal, that they might KNOW thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. How are we able to know that we KNOW the Father and Jesus? 1 John 2:3-4 says 3 And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him. So, in order to have eternal life in Christ, we must KNOW the Father and Jesus. That is done if we keep the commandments of Jesus. And the Bible clearly tells us that whoever says they KNOW Him but does not keep His commandments is a LIAR!! Plain and simple.

James 2:14-26 King James Version 14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, 16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? 17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? 22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? 23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. 24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
This doctrine ensnared me at the beginning of my relationship with Jesus. I thank God He pulled me out of that way of thinking. It was a complete game changer.
you are completely misguided on this topic; you point out one verse from three different books and make a claim; you have to be better than that; what we see over and over is that people who believe will humble themselves, admit their failings and change; all of this is natural after you profess you "believe"; you are stuck on the "believe" part and completely leave out any evidence of that belief even though you know over and over in the Bible you are told what you must do; love one another, produce fruit, exhibit the fruits of the spirit and on and on and on; Jesus tells you, Paul tells you, the law tells you, the prophets told you and still you refuse why . . . because you love men too much to actually believe there is a judgement; read revelation, read the gospel look intentionally for the verses and guidance around fruit and proof of faith. you will find it everywhere. so then, what should you do? speak truth in love with grace, but do not water down what you know is written; it sounds like you believe in once saved always saved as well; read your bible and stop interpreting on your own; what does it tell you about the luke warm? how many will be saved? what doe it tell you about the guest at the kings wedding; why did that guest get thrown out? who is being thrown out a believer or non-believer; what does it tell you about the wheat and tare? how will you know which you are or which another person is? how long is the race? i cannot believe you are on here and speaking like this confusing the believers

@@johnbates9946 How can believers in Christ preach the gospel like what God's word commands believers in Christ to do in Mark 16:15 KJV if the country they are living in have bibles including the KJV banned?
The gospel is 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV - Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: and we are to put our faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ and believe the gospel. Romans 3:25 KJV - Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV - For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
I was with you until 9:45. A house divided against itself will not stand. If I could end this video at 9:44 I would send this to everyone I know. Please really think about what you are saying from the 9:45 - 10:41 mark. God is not judging us. Jesus said “the words that I speak will judge you on the last day.” He certainly does not judge us as a country. Either your sins are forgiven or they are not. It makes no sense to say “yea, I forgive you for that, but I’m going to give you cancer for it.” Jesus said “what is easier, to say your sins are forgiven or rise up & walk?” Obviously being healed is directly connected to being forgiven. God only disciplines us for not believing in the Son. “And he did not heal many sick there because of their unbelief.” Again, a house divided against itself will not stand. When you believe on Jesus the wrath of God is taken away. The wrath of God only abides on the unbeliever.
Jesus did say the man who said, “Lord, have mercy on me, a sinner” was justified, and he forgave various people’s sins and told the woman caught in adultery to sin no more. The main part of coming to Christ is realizing our sin and need for a savior, that’s why Jesus died. Yes, we won’t be perfect and may sin intentionally and not follow God the best way, but we acknowledge our sin, dislike our sin, and want to be holy. Anyone who thinks they’re going to heaven because they attended church, made a profession of faith (emotionally or impulsively), etc. is in a more dangerous position because they think they are saved when they are not. Yes, Lordship is dangerous, that is when we think we are responsible for our salvation and if we think we get to heaven by keeping the commandments and by not falling from Christ. Christ keeps us, but we have the Spirit and no longer want to sin and will repent or be chastised.
