@@jessicagil4664 I have never used honey in melt and pour soap. I avoid adding additives to MNP soap to avoid mold. But I think I will add that to my list of experiments.
@@ElleMakesAHome YT has a way of keeping our suggestions in the same geographical location. For some reason I think dynamic may be from the east coast of the US.
Hey!! Checking out your channel from dynamic doing’s channel. I love all of these soap videos!!! The colors of your soap are so beautiful! So true that Mindset is so important.
Hi dear. Just saw ur comment on Dynamic,, she's truly a dynamic and inspiring lady.. lm here to support ur channel as well, can't wait to watch ur content. New Subbie here 🎉. Love from @ Boujee Bambi's channel 💕
I just recently learned the tip of adding everything but the lye solution. My batches turned out much better, but more so me having more control of the thickness. 😅
That thickness can be hard to deal with plus I always use a water discount. Once I started adding everything to the oils soaping became a bit smoother.
@@blackhands301 I just watched video about the water discount. That’s something I haven’t quite understood. You have some very helpful videos. I’m a little under a year of soap making.
I make a sugar scrub that is actually edible lol - 1/4 cup olive oil, 1 cup sugar in the raw, 1 tablespoon honey, and two tablespoons scented water (water cooked/infused with cinnamon stick, whole cloves, whole allspice, and vanilla) - Cinnamon and sugar rock! Thank you :) <3
So happy your channel came up random in my feed, I subbed and have been watching. Don't know anything about soap making but now I want to try. Is there a good resource that I can learn the basics, like curing time and cold vs hot process, for a quick start. I would just like to make a few recipes for myself, family, and a few very close friends for the holidays. Thank you for the time you take to create and post here. Blessing to you and those you love.
@@southernmediator8919 yay. I’m so glad you found me too. YT has been hiding me :). I actually have a detailed FREE online course for cold process soap. I briefly discuss hot process and melt and pour but it’s a cold process soap tutorial. But it has everything you need. My profile has the link.
@@erickabradshaw no problem. However melt and pour is made with lye as well. Soap cannot exist without it, however once the soap saponify’s the lye is no longer in the soap. Melt and pour has already saponified. I had a melt and pour soap on my to do list so it will be released soon.
@@blackhands301 thanks. Just take a wile to break down with your proces can't use right away for 3 weeks Cold process hot method can be used after 24 hours I needed that. Melt pour soap easier because Im scared of the lye
@@erickabradshaw so with hot process and cold process (what I use) you allow the soap to cure for 4-6 weeks before use. With melt and pour you can use in a few hours. Are you interested in seeing a melt and pour soap video with scents and colors?
@@scrubgirl1033 I did not smell any ACV in the soap. I only used 6 of my required 11 ounces of liquid for ACV and I added a fragrance oil called cactus flower from brambleberry so that’s what it smells like.
The water lye solution may be off. I used the hot process hero to fix my soap after I failed to properly mix my fragrance oil with the soap batter. What recipe did you use
@@momabthatsme7888 The water lye solution may be off. I used the hot process hero after I failed to properly mix my fragrance oil. What recipe did you use?
@blackhands301 oh my i honestly can't remember but I know it had vegetable shortening in it. I am new and I was just trying it out. I will try to rebatch it one more time before I toss it. No actually I used that makesy oil blend
@@momabthatsme7888 oh okay. I have never used vegetable oil but I have been wanting to try the Makesy blend. I’ll have to try them both and do a video. Thanks for the idea.
This looks Amazing! I would like to get myself some shipped to the UK sadly the shipping is too much for what i can afford now but will keep following you❤ blessings and love over your business
@@misma9596 aww thank you so much. Shipping is a lot for international. I have been working with a third party company to try to get it reduced but I completely understand. Thanks for the continued support.
