I've always been a huge fan of the funky switchable operation on the M3, and SPASes 12 and 15. Lovely presentation, thank you very much! I also forgot to say I'm here because Othais mentioned you many a time and i have finally gotten around to seeing what you do.
Looks just like my 1959 vintage Light 12, Cutts anx all. ////the big advantage of the Cutts is to reduce muzzle rise and allow faster follow-ups, especially on skeet doubles.
Hi! Do you still own this shotgun? I recently bought one and it is missing a piece. Would you be willing to help me out? I need the dimensions of the original piece so I can have a new one milled up
Way too many people in such close proximity to each other and zero safety. Other than hoping the guy next to you is competent. One hot brass ejection hits a neighbor and they're swinging their gun around shooting someone. Or an amateur shoots a big recoil gun and it flies off and hits someone in the head. Or best yet, all that led going down and not a care in the world about ricochet. Yup, a group of idiots right there.
I could have bought one of these in beautiful shape yesterday for $90. I’m kicking myself in the ass for not getting it. I have soooo many 12 gauge shotguns though and went to the show to buy more military surplus. That said I know the seller and I’m gonna see if he still has it at the next show. It didn’t sell by the end of the show so I might get lucky
Out of curiosity, if the slide didnt go back far enough to reset the hammer would it still function as a normal double action or does the slide action have the possibility of adding malfunctions?
@@aquadonkey. The 6 Unica is a DA/SA revolver so even if you experience an underpowered load you can just double action through it. Though I'd be more weary of a squib or hangfire at that point. Edit: there may be a possibility of an obstruction such as the bullet unseating and getting between the cylinder and the receiver; that's happened a few times with the Fosbery
@PhoenixPhart thats awesome, id love to get my hands on one just to really see the internals, i love how genius gun engineering can get especially on weirder stuff like this
Holding it by the mag/magwell like I did *may* induce a failure as you're putting pressure on the side of the magazine and changing the feed angle, but in practice I never had a problem with the couple mags I put through it. It really depends on the fit of each individual magazine which honestly very well have been an issue in 1918 during wartime production.
I am disappointed in everyone for thus far not thinking to incorporate "PP" in their Johnson jokes. Something about the "recoil of the big Johnson slapping our PP", maybe
