Hi, friends! My name is Shara Goswick and I am the host Life Stories. Since October of 2022, I have been sharing stories about my life and lessons I have learned along the way, as well as interviewing guests who have had a desire to do the same.
I believe that everyone has a story to share. On a personal level I have talked about what it was like being a teen mom, how I’ve navigated raising a child with Autism, and why my faith is important to me. My guests, so far, have shared stories about cancer survival, being rescued from sex trafficking, foster care and adoption, life coaching, book publishing, prison ministry, and helping women become proud of the scars they bear.
Now that my kids are grown, I am enjoying this new season of talking and listening to the hearts of the people around me. From my home in Texas (and hopefully soon on the road), I will continue sharing stories about life for as long as I can.
I have prayers not answered (YET) for 44 years and many others in between. But like Peter said-where would I go Lord, for you have the words of eternal life.
My husband and I too have a garden here in upstate NY. It’s a good size for us to manage. It’s about 100’x 60’. We grow lettuce, zucchini, tomatoes, potatoes, corn, cucumbers, green bell peppers, cantaloupe melons, and pumpkins. We started canning tomatoes a few years ago. We also freeze the cantaloupe. We cook up the butternut squash then freeze them as well. Our favorite part of vegetable gardening is giving them away. We supply our local food bank too. God has blessed us! I have had the pleasure of being a customer at Drexell & Honeybees a few times. The food is among the best I’ve ever had in my life!! Truly food that is made with love. I am so proud to be able to say such an establishment exists in the community I call home. I tell everyone with ears about their cause and how great their food is!
