Thank you, I know this won't set the world alight for existing players but we felt that it was important to work on every element if learning for a few player.
As a gen1 owner who loves them, i think i have to add these to the shopping list for a future silver setup with some smooth stormpoints. Really awesome to see Aaron kept the awesome scallop shape!.
It's hard in this humid heat. Please do a video explaining your training routine and how you do it. Thanks and keep up the good work. i only managed 1 hour today even with the fan on, so you are way better than me.
Ricky!! Haha I’m glad you shared your name, it makes it more personable. My name’s Rusty. Thanks for the video. I am a sucker for golden darts, and those look right up my alley, too.
@@DartsReview only thing I’d say is ur “closeup” view was further away than the previous scene! Cud hardly c the darts on the closeup. Might just b the way I c it in my fone mate
Keep us posted, Ricky, mate. From what I’ve seen, you’ve certainly a great foundation to build on, so with a steady training regiment, you’ll have a good shot at Q, I believe.
I recently started using the Harrows NX90 in 24g. These are absolutely stop on. Grip the full length of the barrel and below £40. Absolutely perfect...for me. 🎯👍
Love Target darts for sure, but as far as these go, I like the other Dobey set. . Chris Dobey is certainly a top pro, so I am not surprised by the price - though they’re not priced quite as bad as some other pro’s darts. Hey, just to help you out, brotha, that music is bit overpowering over your talking; it’s hard to focus on what you’re saying. Other than that, great video as always, thanks, matey
Your not wrong there are cheaper darts out there, Player darts do tend to generate interest however. Not sure if you have seen it I did advise players to buy cheaper darts in the choosing your first darts video 😀 Thanks for watching:)
Great video. I'm a big fan of DartsClearance which is a UK eBay store. The prices and quality are great and the customer service is top notch. Give them a look before spending a lot on something that may not work. Cheers
@DartsReview yer I have had a look and all looks really good. May need to invest when season 2 comes around. Can they be personalised with a name do you know?
Ill throw you a riddle. I bought a board 3 weeks ago. Been playing against myself mainly throwing at t20s and d18 and d10. Anyway today i got one of those apps that inputs your score and gives you back all your stats. My stats were something ive never seen before. My first 9 average was 49.21. My match average was 56.71. Ive never seen that b4. What happened was i threw dross first 9 then i threw 120,105 and another treble visit to get me down to tops which i took 3 darts to hit. I thought it was bizarre as in the pros you would never see anything like that-i dont think anyway. I cant remember ever seeing it myself.
It's not so much a riddle. It's just that you got your heavy scores after the first 9. 😀 You don't see it with the pros because they normally smash multiple hundreds in the first 9 😀 Thanks for your support :)
Another nice review, thanks mate. I would appreciate a review on the Red Dragon Scorpions if you ever get your hands on a set, or any scalloped darts set for that matter. i find that the scallop helps me find that consistent grip position as i'm only a beginner and new to darts. Cheers and keep up the good work.
Update for those mentioning that the audio and video is not synced I have looked into this and seems this is a common YT issue and has nothing to do with anything I have uploaded. I have tried to find a way to fix it but all the advice is things like better interest your end and delete cookies, which is all dependant on the individual... Sorry I couldn't help further and thank you for notifying me it was an issue :)
Great video and great advice. I think also you need to stick with a set of darts for awhile to really know what to change when you want to step up. It's no good getting a set the only playing a game then give up them as ther different. I got a new set and wasn't what I thought but after playing with them for a few weeks my game has I'm proved.
Since i started playing in January ive bought 13 sets of darts including Taylors which as you say are very hard to throw with The darts that suit me the most are the cult envys but i feel like its a bit if an addiction buying darts😅 Good video dude Have you ever tried any Superdarts?
Good advice in this video. I too started with Javelins for a good 3 months before moving on to Red Dragon Scorpions. Keep up the good work mate, videos like this will certainly help newcomers.
Thats fair :) and it can suite anyone the main point of this is to give new players a starting point so they dont get stuck :) Thank you for watching :)
