absolutely down for a more in-depth logi video. I've owned this game for about a year but barely have dipped my toes in because of how overwhelming it seems, and the fact I don't want to screw up and waste resources by dying a lot. Very helpful video
i dont understand why the devs never made a tutorial -- this is a great step towards that but nowhere near an actual tutorial still leaving me wanting to refund the game. shame.
I would love to see an updated version 😊 I'm a member of staff in DadSpeed, and I keep pointing new players to this video. But it's slowly getting more and more out of date
God, I loved games where you make your own food...but here they went to another level. Here we are not talking about a game, but really how it should be ... it is difficult ... I have to start learning ... thank you, in a few minutes, so much information / second. you deserve more subscribers
I believe it's all still relevant. There's a new station for gathering, to break down cotton and flax for the tailors. Bit I believe the content is all still accurate. Let me know if you find otherwise.
Dude!! Paused @ 8 minutes … need to pause and digest the landslide of awesome information here!! Totally going to like this to my community when I stream this! So much help! Thank you!!!
at this level of detail . its labour of love not a game any more my son calls it second job lol. I like the the better than minecraft sandbox style with better graphics but I am a casual player so I will pass on this one. I have checked out some videos like this one which are great but maybe this game is not suited for a casual player who only has say 10 or 20 minutes a day in the evening to play .
Find a low collab server...or start your own. You can increase exp/star gain if you're the admin, so can make the free time you have, really count. Failing that, you can always do single player, but you will miss out on a lot of the community collaboration aspects. Good luck 😊
Very nice info! Would love to see a video, or more, on guidlined for setting up: a government with established currency (if you're choosing to not barter right off the bat), setting a central spawn point, & monetary stipend (join the server get a startup money package, etc.). Anything you can think of to help guide how things can be done. I like to see so I know HOW to do it. If I'm left to struggle through how to figure it out: it is not my forte. Detailed help would be wonderful. To the point of the topic videos would be a godsend. Especially as I'm starting to really enjoy the game. I'd love to know how to create/improve the government side of society instead of "just" being another cog making it somehow function. You seem to have a strong grasp of it.
I just pressed that notification button because, to be honest, I learned here most tht I learned in many other video's around Eco. Hope you keep growing and also provide a list of more indepth videos (like the one for farming) in the other professions. Cheer's!
We need more people like you: you go straight to the point, show significant Data compared with other alternatives and , last but not least, explain the mechanics. Pretty well done and thanks you very much
The comment on bacon had me rolling. I started playing a few days ago and found out today my character hates bacon, the blasphemy! Great guide. Lots of useful tips that help me understand the game a bit better. Yes, It's long, but it kind of has to be for this game. There is just so much going on, even on a basic level. Subbed!
How do you know what type of nutrients a plant needs other than just checking what gets depleted each time? Like if I want to plant beets how do I know what nutrients they like?
I believe the Wiki has a low limit threshold and nutrient usage for each crop type, but I never really used it all that much. For the most part I just focused on pushing them towards 80% once a day providing emphasis on the nutrient that was lowest. Something of a juggle using different fertilizers, but as long as you don't let it get below the crops low threshold you're fine.
Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video! really helpful have been looking back at this video for reference. also i am so glad i dont have those neighbors 0-0 why... would u do that with tailing.. just... why. Would love you making more videos of eco in general!
Thank you for this. It's answered a few questions I've been having on farming, it is surprising hard to find good info on this game. There is something you didn't mention and I wanted to know if it did anything. Overcrowding. I've always spread out my farms to avoid it but it takes ALOT of land. I just want to know if overcrowding actually hurts the yield.
This has come up a few times and I definitely should have covered it. I added comments to the video description on this topic. Thanks for the heads up.
-Holy shit,- this helped me *SO* much. Like, i was wondering why the heck my rice plant suddenly turned grey. Most likely because it can't grow where i've got my current camp. Thank you for this guide! ❤️
Thank you for the video!! This helped tremendously :D but I noticed some of your corn plants had the "This corn cannot survive in this inhospitable environment" but are still growing anyway, should I be ignoring this message ingame too or is there a significance to it? :0c
does the density of the plants matter? all your corn seems fine with but it says "inhospitable enviroment" and "very overcrowded". very good vid btw mate!
Glad you enjoyed it. I think overcrowded penalty only applies to wild crops. To prevent natural overgrowth. It seems to have 0 effect on planted crops.
Fertilizer is purely based on nutrient level so if nitrogen is low use a nitrogen rich fertilizer. I think the wiki does list which plants use what nutrients the most but I mostly just focused on which nutrient was needed each time I did a fertilizer pass.
